Didn't know where to put this, but I thought it would be good for all the people who voted for TeamLiquid to know that the website managed to make the cut by garnering 4.4% of votes.
The complete list is here:
01. readmore.de (9,8%) 02. VaKarM (9,4%) 03. Replays.Net (7,3%) 04. against All authority (5,2%) 05. HLTV.org (4,8%) 06. ProPlay (4,7%) 07. Fragster (4,6%) 08. team liquid (4,4%) 09. SK Gaming (4,3%) 10. CSHU (4,3%)
Am I the only one who finds it sad and pathetic that Fomos, the number one source of all non-Korean StarCraft progaming websites, is dead last with almost no votes to speak of? -.-
And of course Team Liquid has a Korean flag next to it. It is a well known fact Team Liquid is populated with Koreaphiles.

TL.net's content is original. Hardly anything is from Fomos, and whatever is from Fomos, is just posted by users on the forums. TL.net is not its forums. TL.net is: News, Final Edits, Power Rank, TLPD, Calendar, Liquipedia, Live Streams, Fantasy leagues, Liquibet, youtube uploads, torrent tracker, etc
And I'd think more scforall stuff has been posted than Fomos stuff in the last year.

While that is true, it does not change the fact that whenever a Korean source is required, Fomos will almost inevitabily be that source. Plus, pictures from Fomos are used extensively on TeamLiquid, even in official articles.
In any case, none of this really changes my point. I still do not think Fomos should be dead last.

Me either, but i mean we had to rally english speakers on this site to vote for us in a set of European Awards. I'd be really surprised if fomos finds out they were even on the list or care.
While getting nominated is cool, it will suck if TL.net loses to a greatly inferior site. None of the sites in that top 10 has as much content as TL.net.
They generally just have a front page with forums and replays/vods. I think one of them had a Bet service available. But none of them have anything to compete with Liquibet/TLPD/Liquipedia/Fantasy PL. Team Liquid is a unstopable ESPORTS monster from the future, no puny site of today can compete.

Well, it's in German. So yer, it's pretty much only used by Germans.
I mailed them yesterday to get our flag changed (we now have a European flag instead of a Korean one) and to get Plexa added as head of coverage. I also asked them about details regarding the award ceremony (specifically whether they plan to invite site representatives for the best coverage category, about dates, etc) and they replied that further information would be made public next week.
These awards are hosted by the same company that owns ESL, which is a German company based in Cologne, so I'm going to assume that this is where the ceremony will be held. Cologne should also be reachable from Belgium/Netherlands.

it will be held at the games convention like last year.
