I completely agree. He actually really reminds me of Rip (and no not just because of the mask). Still I think Orlando benefits more now.

I thought I was the only person who saw the resemblance between Rip and Lee; glad someone else sees it :D
I'm thumbs up as well for Carter coming to Orlando. I just hope they'll re-sign Hedo as well.
EDIT: I'm making reference to just the mask :D

Courtney Lee isn't going to be much more than Rip... and he wasn't really a 'stud' he's just a very solid player.

Two eastern conference contenders down; one to go.
Will Boston pull the trigger on Rondo / Allen? And will all this set off a chain reaction for teams to make similar deals? Because the way I see it, there are two types of teams in this off-season. There are the teams that are creating cap space to join in on the 2010 sweepstakes; and then there are the teams looking for a title push in the upcoming year.
Maybe the Lakers come out and make a similar type of trade? Who knows!?

Yeah I don't think Lee will even be better than Rip. Just a solid player like you mention.

I really doubt that they will be able to afford Hedo with VCs contract... this would be AWFUL if they cant resign Turkoglu.
|
Yeah I think Orlando adds about +5 million to their salary after the trade is done. Plus they lose a bit of depth. And besides Hedo, Gortat is also up for grabs. He obviously isn't great, but he's worth more than $700k/yr. Orlando still has a few questions to answer about their roster. In any event, I'm still a fan of Carter and it will be exciting to watch him and Howard play together.

Any other disgruntled magic fans want to go jump off a bridge with me? This one hurts...top 5 magic blunder without question, and that's saying something.

Only way they will be able to pull it of is if Hedo is willing to take less money. I'm sure he will get a bigger offer elsewhere, but is he willing to take less for a chance at the title? Obtaining Carter might help them convince him.

I love Hedo. I want him in DET, but not for Prince. I just want him!

THABEET idiots. guess they trust in a conley/mayo backcourt tho
|
Did you expect Rubio? I thought Rubio refused to play in Memphis because of past experiences with Spanish players or something.
|
you cant go wrong with a 7'3 center
|
oh snap maybe no one wants rubio because of his contract issues

*shoots self*
I hate Harden.. wow.
EDIT: 1 - Westbrook 2 - Harden 3 - Durant 4 - Green 5 - ???
Is this what they're trying to do? I guess I'm just shocked that someone like Harden could go at #3. But I guess in a weak draft like this, anything is possible. Lawl.

The booing during Stern's comments about the Lakers was great. Good job crowd.
