Is there punishment yet for deleting the backgrounds? I know there's been that "OSU HATES U ARRGH etc." message for some time, but is that enforced yet? If so, does anyone know how to write a script that could convert all the image files in a given folder to black? Even with the complete background dim, the BG is still visible during the breaks and it's distracting. Just getting back into osu after a long break so help is appreciated.
Also, does anyone have experience using a 120 Hz monitor with osu or mania? I'm planning on building a new comp soon, and I've heard only good things about them. In osumania, it also seems that the sliding bars can't display properly if you set the speed too high (>17'ish) on a regular monitor.

Some people claim to randomly get kicked out of a mp game because of it. I don't know how you actually check if that's the case, though.
So I found out I can spin 400+ and maintain high 300's with pure mouse after trying a new method. Which means I could probably get 400+ consistently if I continue to refine it?

I probably get an average of around 380, but I intentionally don't go crazy because I've missed notes afterwards trying to find my cursor. That's with 2k dpi.

Am I a god?
If you run >1000 dpi, nah.
If you run ~600, dayum gurl.
Agreed.
I'm quite inconsistent, sometimes i barely go over 300, sometimes i seem to get to 400 without any trouble.
Btw, getting a new monitor with different height/width ratio absolutely ruined my sense of aim, lol. I'm still trying to experiment with the resolution to get a more familiar feel, but my aim atm is so bad it's hilarious. I guess it's that i have to get used to it.

I use 800.
My method is actually better at lower dpi since it focuses on maximum control and small circle spinning. Also means that I can spin as fast as I possibly can and still be in full control for the notes afterwards.
I actually noticed that as well. Any time I'm watching friends playing or watching videos, everyone always seems to spin counterclockwise, but I've always naturally spinned clockwise. Also right-handed.
