SO I decided to donate my myrm to the gods of the killboards today. Tried to move out to NPC nullsec, some 40j from where I started. Got my scanning alt into a buzzard and took off. Almost didn't make it even one jump into lowsec. Got immediately pointed by a slepneir. Fortunately, I was flying a nano'd myrm, and was able to gtfo.

I manage to make it all but two jumps to my destination when I run into a firetail. Jump through the gate, and immediately get scrambled. My myrm isn't fitted for fighting at all, so I burn back to gate to hope to get away. He webs me, so I decide to fight. Send out hobs, and he immediately flies 50km from gate. We sit there staring at each other, and I decide to move on to the next gate.

While this is happening, my alt makes it through the final gate. I warp to 0 in the myrm, and immediately a cynbal, tengu, cane, and another ship land on the other side of the gate. So now I'm stuck on one side with the firetail, or the other with his gang... I engage the firetail, gang jumps through, and kill me and my myrm. One jump away from my final destination.

So close, so close...
