Lord Maldoror's movies on triage carriers and logi in general have been amaaaazing, I strongly recommend people watch them if you haven't already. Makes me reaaaaally want a triage archon and for us to fly armor fleets.

How else will MA mining fleets communicate that they are in trouble with no local? Sound logic.

I think we need to Black Frog our Black Ops fleet up here from Molden Heath so they can't spot us coming into their space.

If anything prices go down because more people switch to selling plexes rather than missioning theirself.

That line means that people will become more reliant on buying plex and selling it in game to fund their play.

You're implying that people don't use local to discover threats to themselves. I guess local +50 means nothing, you right.

This means you think the supply of plex will increase, meaning people will spend more real life money on plex. I don't think this is the case, but if you do then yes, that is what will happen. I don't think the amount of real life money people are willing to spend on EVE will go up that much. I could be wrong, though.

I'd agree with Karah here, There are enough people out there willing to pay for plex with real money, but at lower prices it becomes more practical to pay in game. If anything i'd expect plexes to rise for a couple of days, but nothing major, followed by a dip back down to about 10m below they are now.

you are not making any sense....
|
I'm saying people will become more reliant on buying plex, but not to the extent that plex prices will lose value, I think demand will increase more than supply will.
|
What you mean by MORE reliant on buying plex? You need 1 plex per account per month. Either you pay 350m for it or you pay $. What changes is that you might not have enough ISK anymore and instead of doing missions you want to get money by selling plexes, in which case there will be an overflow of supply and prices drop.
|
ok, why would demand increase? we are still talking what would happen if local changes? or you saying plex elasticity is high?
|
Still talking about local changes, I just think if cost of manufacture increases demand for plex will increase. It is, at it's most base form, a form of payment to play. However, plex has become a currency of its own, imo, and I feel that it's value will increase should the local change occur. Pure speculation on my part
