Quick question, If I were to get a second account, what would be the best way about going about it?
Pickup 21 day trial, activate account, then transfer over alt character?
but with that, does that mean I get 51 days play time and 30 on my main account (21 day recruit a friend) or is the 21 day trial lost when the account is activated.

Send yourself 21 day trial, activate it (thus getting adding another 30 days for your trial AND your main acc for the price of 1). No need to transfer alt character.
Yes you will get 51 days on your trial account. Any time you buy is added to the end.

Send yourself 21 day trial. Send yourself isk. Buy plex. Plex account. Recieve 30 days on each account for one plex, plus the original free 21. No transfering.
Or do you mean buy one off the bazaar?

I have an alt on my main account about 4mil sp thats doing nothing. I have two computers so I can basically mine, undercut on market, etc all at the same time. It was an industry character made when I first started playing and I soon realised how retarded mining was and made a combat character for the 700k sp in dedicated gunnery, as the 3mil I had in industry and trading was a complete waste. Also want dedicated salvage, or like a tank drake so i can fit like pure dps baddon or something. Interesting things can come of it.
Wait so I can just send it a plex and not have to buy the game? So you could basically get 51 days on an alt, and 30 for your main, off one plex assuming you kept making new trials.

Shocking, I wonder how much it's abused. 1 plex for 81 days of playtime + new account.

Its not abused that much because after 51 days youd have to plex both accounts, and I fail to see what you would need a 51 day account once every month for.

Better than nothing, keeping an alt in a system, down a pipe, scouting, 81 days is much better than 30

If its doing something trivial like things I listed above, you would have to pay for both accounts still, either through 2x plex or moneys. If you do it this way making a new 21day trial you get 30 on your main and 51 on a new account that allows it to do trivial things for 51 days for the cost of 1x plex. Makes sense to me never to activate plex on your main account, and activate it on a trial in the event you need a scout etc.

It's not abuse because somebody bought the PLEX from CCP for money. So while you aren't paying for your account, someone else is.

(as for the scout discussion, you can freely create 14 day scouts, I dont really see what you can do with a 51 day dude everymonth that needs skill training, the only use I see is for trading alts (allows you to train trading skills wihout having to stop your main account training like people usually do))
