So i was spending time in WH space like normal (it can be famine or feast you see) And i happened upon a really busy class 6 WH that was about two jumps in from the original WH (a class 3) i took that was in hek.

The night was pretty uneventful. I after i had probed all of the sites, and had found out where the WH exits and locations were I set up for a night of fun. There was a huge POS in the Class 6 so d scanned it out, and warped near buy to see what was going on. They had quite a few ships out- moros, tengu, apoc, rapier, curse.... along with a prowler, badger and bestower.

I was watching the POS with baited breath, and was hoping that one of the intys would move out. No sooner had i wished than the prowler warped to the hole that lead into the class 3. I gave chase but was un able to catch it. Once it had warped from the class 6 to 3 it headed into highsec for some trade. deciding to cut my losses, and continue watching the pos (they had not noticed me yet) i was hoping that i might be able to score a few kills. after waiting around (and studying) in my off time, my prayers were finally answered when i saw a badger begin to move.

Unlike the prowler i was already aligned and ready to go, so i slammed my warp button and made it to the first WH. I passed through it and waited for my unsuspecting prey on the other side of the class 6 WH. While siting in the class 3 i was waiting with baited breath- hoping for him to come soon. Sure enough the badger warped through the whole, and i uncloak and instapopped him. It was going to be a bad night for him and the his corp. Well after that little stunt- i sent his corp my usual letter of congratulations, and apology.

His response was less than admirable (he was quite mad) and i thought that would be the end of my little fun night. Just as i was cleaning up after the kill, a ranis, curse, brutix showed up and I had to gtfo. After this calamity i decided to scout around the WH space and see if i could pick up anything on D scan that would be an easy kill. Nothing really seemed to jump out at me. With the current POS owners in the class 6 now on high alert (they had their moros out) and with them sitting on every gate, i had to quiet down for a little bit. So i did some more HW and went to the gym to work out, all while i AFK cloaked at my safe. (10k from their pos)

When i came back i decided to end my night by sitting in the class 3 WH and wait for any weary travelers from high sec to wander into J space. I had been sitting there for about 30 min when my old friends in the curse and ranis showed up. But this time, they were followed by a bestower. I knew that i had only a single chance to strike- and had to pick my moment very very carefully. I raced to the other end of the class 3 WH and went through the hole into their class six. I waited on the other side about 10k off the hole, and crossed my fingers that this corp got sloppy.

Thank god for laziness. Because like idiots they sent in the bestower first. I uncloaked and instantly targeted my helpless prey with my warp disruptor my torps and my target painter. he fell in two cycles, and was sitting there helpless on the gate. Now ladies and gentlemen is where shit hits the fan. Note that at this time i could have looted his wreak. I could have. But i didn't because i new that his friends were probably not far behind, and wanted to make sure that i made a clean escape. So i warped off.

About a min later i check the kill mail.

AND HOLY SHITTTT!!!! 675MIL NIGHTMARE BP!!!! and i could have taken it???? fuuuuuuuu

Sadly the only thing that i could do at this point- was warp back into the kill and blow up the wreak. I had checked what was left, but they had taken the BP and the only thing left was minerals...... So i blew it up.

What a sad day i could have made so much monies, and bought myself a super pimped out bomber..... but ohh well chalk that up to a learning experience! As for the time being, i am going to be staying in their little bit of space, and i don't plan on leaving till i either get that BP or get that 100mil wired to my account.
