I just skimmed this thread, but if you guys are having problems getting multiplayer to work over hamachi, direct IP connection works a lot better than LAN. Just take the host's IP from Hamachi and type it in (as long as the host created a Direct IP connect game) and it works like a charm.

Myself, my brother, his fiance, and a few of our other friends play CIV IV BTS all the time, and it'd definitely be awesome to play a huge game. If you guys set up another one I'd definitely like to play.

hi guys, I just noticed this thread and thought I'd join in super late. However, I can't connect to the game and the connection keeps timing out.

1. turn on Hamachi, get on TLciv4
2. run game
3. multiplayer -> direct ip connect -> type in ip given & press connect
4. wait
5. The connection to the host has timed out.

edit: i'll try again tomorrow... or if you guys have already started, then maybe next time. ^^;
