I'm rolling Empire on US West.
Server name is TBD, but I plan to play on the same one as Taugrim from www.taugrim.com & twitch.tv/taugrim when he announces it. He's basically the Day[9] / Artosis of PvP in MMOs, and though his guild does not recruit, a lot of his fans are mature PvP enthusiasts who also plan to play on his server. If PvP is your thing and you're on the West Coast I'd suggest checking his websites out and/or hitting me up for some games.
Peace.

For the EU people that want to join a server together, which side would you want to go considering Empire outnumbers Republic by a significant amount?
so are the people that voted for whatever side didnt win when headstart starts ok with changing to the winning side? we need to get as many people onboard as possible to make the grouping part more FUN.
I personally will consider switching to english pvp when there are like 15+ TL people around. Someone should organize things, ill be home way too late on tuesday.

Anyone know when they sending the emails to tell you when your early access begins?

On the day you can start playing. Starts tomorrow for beta testers and for the first people that pre-ordered.

It's only based on when you pre-ordered. Beta testers don't get in earlier than everyone else.

I'll need to find my sources again (which I dont want to) to bring you evidence, but what I meant is that tomorrow mostly the beta testers will get early access as a reward for testing the game. They wont be the only ones though.

The unofficial oceanic PvP server is SwiftSure - US West. My guild will be deployed there and we're spreading the word to any oceanic players to join us there.
PS roll republic! The population is already skewed before its even started...

So who wants to play republic east coast PvP server? lets get a TL guild going. Always nice to be on the side with fewest people no battleground wait
PM me if you want to get something going

That might be where I go as I was originally apart of the vVv but I want to be on the minority and not the majority ;/

Interesting I remember reading an interview where they said testers are getting nothing for testing the game and hadn't even thought about it.

MMORPG.com:
Will Game Testers or long-time Game Testers be receiving anything to show off in the live game? Dallas Dickinson:
I don’t think we have any official notation for them, but for the most part, these are going to be the first people into the game. We’ve announced previously that our Early Access program is going to favor those who burned codes early, and that’s a pretty 1:1 mapping of people who were in the Game Testing program, so I think that’s the primary way we’re going to be rewarding those folks. Also, these are also the people who know exactly where they want to go and who they want to play when they start.
From what I gather they are expecting the people who were in the game testing program to have pre-ordered on like day 1. But from what I read from this quote they aren't getting in because of the game testing program.

Yea, that's what I had in mind. I thought that beta testers will get full early access assuming they pre-ordered. I'll tell you tomorrow if my thought were correct as I pre-ordered only last week, but have been a beta tester for 2 months.

PS roll republic! The population is already skewed before its even started... Yep all my friends and me are rolling on SwiftSure... Empire though, sorry
I ordered from Amazon (damn not having Oceanic pre-order) on the 9th December. I don't think my early access will come through until the weekend maybe.
Given that, I'll get to play for like 4 days maybe and then if EA continue their stance of "no grace period" I will have to wait until: "Delivery Estimate: December 23, 2011 - December 29, 2011" in order to get to play.
Those void days (between 3 and 9 days) will be utterly horrid waiting to play.

I have played Horde on WoW, Asmodean on Aion and Accretian on RF Online all of which were grossly outnumbered by other respective races.
It was not fun in any way at all, trust me Here's hoping for your sake that SWTOR Republic will be different.
How is everyone else playing once they get access? Trying to power out the highest level you can in the shortest amount of time or going to enjoy the story along the way and do all the side quests etc? Personally for my first character I'm just going to power level. I'll enjoy the story when I'm going through a second time (albeit, a different story for a different class).
Also, what crew skills is everyone getting? I'm going synthweaving, treasure hunting and bioanalysis - this may sound really illogical but I'm playing with other friends and we're going with Synthweaving / Artifice / Biochem as we're all force users and between us we're getting the mission/gathering skills which help these, just factoring in the companions which give critical chance.
Individually we wont be making much but as a team we'll have companions with critical in everything so that we can make the highest profit margin / best gear for ourselves. I'll be giving my artifice / biochem materials to my friends to craft with a higher chance of critical and they'll be giving me all their synthweaving materials for my higher chance of criticals. I was fortunate to happen to glance at SWTOR.com when they surprised people with their pre-order announcement. So, I'm a first day pre-order.
I'm going to be checking my e-mail today relentlessly.

I thought I read on the website they would send out emails around 12 tomorrow, but now I can't find any info on it. Anyone know what time they plan on letting us know when we get access or should I just check periodically
