Also, apparently Kuroda was on the verge of OCVing the last team, but missed a KKZ for chip damage! Anyway, AH2 is gonna be played tonight, along with MBAC and GGAC. List of qualified players. My predictions for last chance quals: (Links are to AH2 videos of the players, if available. Some of them are from Nico Video and/or are pretty old.) * Ao (青, Elsa) - appeared in 0 qualifiers but won AH1 last year and beasts in AH2 * Danpu (だんぷ, Elsa) - appeared in 1 qualifier * Alan White (白アラン, Saki) - appeared in 1 qualifier * Caliber (カリバー, Heart) - appeared in 1 qualifier * Kouya (こうや, Kamui) and Time Man (時人, Konoha) - appeared in 2 and 0 qualifiers, respectively * decoy (Dorothy) - appeared in 3 qualifiers My predictions for top 8: * Tono (殿, Konoha) - because he was just so awesome in AH1. * TOMO (Catherine) - because he's so good and Catherine is so good. * Fujii (ふじい, Catherine) - ditto. * Ma Chao (馬超, Yoriko) - because he was so good in AH1 when Yoriko sucked, and he is still a beast, and he is using perhaps the best character in the game. * Pianist (ピヤニスト, Yoriko) - because he seems to be another great Yoriko, even though I've never seen him play. * Mi (ミ or 三, Petra) - because even though Petra is mid/low tier, I think Mi has enough beast to make up for it. If his SBO-qualifying win wasn't enough to convince you, then watch how he used to combo with Fire Kira in AH1. * Metal Slime (恵子横綱 aka メタルスライム, Kira) - because he has Character AND Arcana Love! Can this combined love overcome the problem of using a mid-tier character with a low-tier Arcana? I believe it can. :wgrin: * Pashii (ぱしー, Fiona) - because he made Fiona work in AH1, and now she's mid-high tier. He was the best Fiona player in AH1, imo. Bonus AH2 video: Pashii raping another Fiona, AC響, who used to be a pretty good Fiona in AH1. * Gen-chan (げんちゃん, Clarice) - because he's really good, from what I've seen. * Alan White (白アラン, Saki) - if he makes it through last chance, then I can see him making it to top 8 as well. My favourite to win the whole thing is Ma Chao (馬超, Yoriko). | ||

)Also updated the TOMO video to a more recent one between him and Tanukichi. I'm pretty confident there will be a Saki player in top 8, but of all the Sakis who qualified I've seen only Tanukichi's Saki, and while it was good, there are 3-week-old videos of Tanukichi playing Angelia rather than Saki! (E.g. see the aforementioned video vs TOMO.) No character love = no top 8. So I put in Alan White as my Saki for top 8. | ||

wow crazy shit dude, kuroda chokes against K's chun in finals, ino beats the chun, and loses to chinta's ken [this ken ocv'd ko/nuki/rx]...MOV comes back from a 2-1 lead and wins against chinta's ken and saru's yun to win SBO as the anchor for team INO Japan....AND HE DID THIS WITH ONLY 2 FINGERS B/C APPARENTLY HE HAD A BIKE ACCIDENT OR SOMETHING AND HAD A CAST ON HIS RIGHT ARM THE ENTIRE TIME!!!! | ||
