You're supposed to pick up all of the other non-red shapes, too.
It's a cute little game, but it's also yet another Flash game where the main determinant of your score is how fast your computer runs due to speed affecting the controls.
They should really look over the ads on their webpage. The game refused to start until I reloaded the site due to a soundconflict with one of the flash-ads. As for the game, somewhat neat, but not really all that fun.

It was pretty easy, I kind of took a red one at 50 streak just to see what would happen. I did find the music and colors to be pleasant, although the rotation and perspective kind of made me dizzy lol. Good game [:

1,826,911 on my... fourth try. First try I didn't even realize the yellow ones were good (yeah, I missed the little cue at the beginning) until a third the way through. Whoops. >_>

This game made me feel so happy. Every time you get a yellow shape it congratulates you, and if you get a red shape it goes "aw shucks," "bummer," etc.
i did 2,699,093 80 somethin combo :0 (think it was 86?) it's pretty much just about how many yellows u get, i got all the ones thrown at me, but this was my second game, and in the first one i only got 67 (also catching them all..)
2,642,275 80 multiplier and I don' t think I missed any yellow ones, and I definitely didn't hit any reds.
But I don't think you can play this too many times. The music is very nice of course, but then again it's the same over and over again. Also, are the purple ones coming at random? Because then it leaves a lot to luck :/

The beauty of this game isn't just the song... it's the way everything in it is like a metaphor for life... there's so much symbolism :O Perhaps I will write a blog about it to explain

Got 2.6 million now. Got all yellows (only 76 this time?). Strange that I didn't got more, since I got 2.45 million with hitting a red on around 60 and getting the yellow count up to 50 again (so probably around 85 yellow that round).

Ok, just played fourth game... I was at x96 at the end, I missed a couple yellows, but got all purples... ended up with 2,542,969. Yay!

2.783.610 took all yellow (x86) no red and pretty much all others.. i dont see how you can get 3.5 mill heh. :O maybe every point matters in the end though or sometimes you get more yellow? like a random or something i donnu..
4778374 on my first try. I dont get why people aren't doing much better, I hit red twice, missed a couple of yellows, and still got that score. Maybe I just got lucky and got more purples or something?

That was on the first song where i only got 74%
For real. I hit like 3 reds and missed alot of yellows.
5702334 using the falling ones and using the longest song possible. Got to x132 combo, got a red and then back to x110 combo after. The falling pattern makes it very easy to dodge the reds.
I believe you can do more than 6000000 if you're lucky you can get a purple power at the same time as a yellow madness, it happenned to me once and I bounced from x5 to x60 in 5 seconds lol. if you dodge all reds after that it's easy.
Anyway, awesome game, thx for bumpinn this thread.
EDIT: If someone has a site with song URLs, I would like to try with other songs I like.
I don't think it's a very good game per se, the beautiful aspect I'd say is mostly the song itself (I love those dreamy piano solos). It has potential to become an actual good game, but right now it's just moving a circle over a bunch of shapes that keep shooting into the middle of the screen. You can play the game just fine without sound, but turning it off pretty much removes all the appeal of the game.
But talk is cheap and I sure haven't done anything better. Closest I've gotten to an original gameplay was a dos version of Breakout.
Damnit ... someone remind me what the name of that game is where you funnel colors to certain point until it fills up and there is music that plays when you get all the points to fill up.

Anyways. On the 2nd level I got all the yellow shapes and 70% collected so I got to x116 then literally right before the end of the level a red shape spawned directly on top of me and I dropped down to x55. >.< So mad

It also popped up something with a red star? I didn't see because I opened up paint and then it was gone when I came back.
I got 7.3 million score using this song. It seems the longer the game goes the more points you get. So really, the only thing that matters is how big your combo gets and what % of shapes you get at the end. (mine is always in the low hundreds and around 70%)
The game sends out shapes on kicks and snares and bass thumps. But it doesn't really pick up all the subtle or more elongated sounds for specific patterns. (example being that link I posted above, when the bass is rattling around it doesn't do anything)
Wow what a fabulous game thank you posting it my girl friend adores it. I wasd playing no2 and doing really well i though this has to be a great score lol i got 3602556 wow i thought thats high then i saw that the high score was 1534557788 LOL o well its still concentrate of joy.

I'm not even a big SC1 watcher, but first thing I thought (and kept thinking till reading the OP) was "why is the discussion about a Flash game (as in Flash the terran player) in sports and games? I guess my constant teamliquid-surfing nowadays is turning me really into one of you guys! O_o
