(2-1 in rounds, should've been 2-0 after Jwong whiffed a Rufus ultra, but Marn foolishly did dash-up ultra after Rufus's ultra finished. Jwong blocked it and killed him.)

Uhhhh I dunno whether grand finals are bo5 or bo7. The tourney thread on SRK said bo5 and BlazBlue was bo5. Either way, I think the commentators have lost track of the score -_-.

this sounds a lot like a small tournament that i was at in atlanta, except instead of being freezing cold it was fucking hot as hell.
the tournament was supposed to be in a pretty big house, we got there it was a normal size suburban house for a tournament that had 40 people entering SF4, 10 people in blazblue, 10 people in mvc2, and some unknown number of smash players upstairs.
this was mid july in fucking atlanta, 90 degrees and humid outside. it was HOTTER INSIDE THE VENUE THAN OUTSIDE.
Venue owner/organizer selling $3 water bottles and not having the AC on... flies everywhere too, one kept trying to land on my face during a tournament match. all the fucking smellies were extra smelly, even some of the nonsmellies started exhibiting a bit of stench
there was a laggy tv, and another tv that was used for the grand finals had some kind of weird issue where if something loud happens (balrog rush punch, ex green hand hitting, etc), the screen would turn the wrong colors and the image would shake up and down.
and then it came down to the prize payout and my ride got second. he was really pissed already just because of how the tournament was organized and wanted to get the hour drive back to alabama done already
the organizer declared that $40 is missing from the pot and the dude started blaming smash players with no proof but there were no smash players to protest. i still wonder if he just pocketed it. i just wanted to fucking go home already shit was supposed to end at 7pm and it was 1am so i just gave them 40 because fuck it the winners deserve their money and i didnt want to have to deal with the whole situation
shit happened months ago and i'm still raged whenever i think about it...
on a side note, me and that friend also learned the hard way that playing sf4 until 7am the night before isn't the correct way to train for a tournament. also, my practice of always bringing extra water bottles to a tournament came in handy.
i hate how tournament organizers always manage to fuckup somehow

Oh yeah, mad props to mah boy Veteru for taking 3xT BB and plowing through the fields of socal free-13's. Apparently missing his flight and having to deal with tourney organizers leveled up his rusty ass play.
