And if you use it after you maxed one those two (lvl 10), then it won't do any kind of significant damage. However, it could be used when you're completely dominating a lane, like 2v1, or having huskar as your lane partner vs 2 melee, things like that, it COULD be worth getting it instead of call. | ||

Of course, I still prefer call/helix. Anyone have good ideas against axe's who go between the first two towers and do that branch/helix thing? Usually I call for lane-swap or for a lvl 1/2 nuke gank, but sometimes in pubs... | ||

i remember some team doing that strat against us in a cw, except they had a healer and someone else with axe, and when they lost they blamed the map version. so i laughed. | ||

 anti-blink, maybe but then again I find it rare for battle hunger to be a worthwhile investment. Rarely does it stop initiation. If I do get it, I get it after lvl 16 when fights generally last longer and it prevents dagger users from blinking out/re-blinking. | ||

For use in lane? Not unless the lane's completely fucked, and even then its not worth delaying full call/helix till 13-14. | ||

I guess it would only work if he brings some kind of stun with him, but he can't have both call and helix @ lvl 1, so he's just gonna take a bunch of creep damage while you look at him going "o.O". Either way, if you're itching for 1st blood, there are way better combos/rune + orb walking/etc heroes that can do it. Axe is just... meh! | ||
