Also just get omni if possible if he's not banned or taken to repel krob. (which is unlikely but hey). Then the other heros to be honest shouldn't matter that much and you can just choose what fits best or what is needed most.

bhp255 United States600 Posts December 19 2008 21:40 GMT #5472 one virus changed the registry and opened the way to others, which in turn opened the door to many others, and so on and so forth... so now, desktop's CD drive has been impaled by viruses, so no "boot from CD," no system restore allowed, and even the BIOS has been messed with, reducing my options to.... one: throw away my pc D:

GogoKodo Canada1785 Posts December 19 2008 21:44 GMT #5473 It's probably more likely that some virus screwed with the MBR (master boot record) rather than an actual BIOS virus. You're absolutely sure you cannot bring up the BIOS and or choose boot device menu? Also if it really is a BIOS infection, you may still be able to reset the CMOS, looks like you have internet access so do some research into doing that. This will require you to open your box and fiddle with stuff so hopefully you're comfortable with that. If any of that helps I would recommend not booting back into windows at all. Instead try to get a windows CD or something that will let you format the drive.
