Good players playing at a top level will always have TP scrolls on them because they will have a (shared) crow which brings them TP's whenever they are out, in any organised game there is no excuse whatsoever for not holding a TP during the mid/late game stage. Basically the shop just makes it a tiny bit more convenient to get a tp scroll. On the other hand in a pub, noobs generally don't even get a chicken (let alone a crow), so having access to a TP scroll in the lane will encourage better play - more map awareness, better push defending etc - and they have no excuse for not holding a TP. It helps the average player in a pub who might have a chicken but not a crow, and wants to buy a TP scroll quickly without having to bring the chicken over - it just adds convenience, to something that is standard (holding a tp). | ||
