at least i learned to never lend money to friends =x
Why do you think Judge Judy is still there despite 10+ years?
Or you take a dump on their windshield on a rainy day.
i ask from time to time (every coupla months when i remember), convo usually goes something like this -yo u still owe me money -ill try and pay asap ><; gotta cover X atm -fine, do it by <date> k? -k
where X is anything like tuition, groceries, whatever
sadly it's a chick so taking the following approach might paint me as the bad guy

Pester the shit out of them. Or if you want to actually get it back right away say it's an emergency and you need it back really badly, ASAP. Other than that friends will put it off indefinitely. That's of course if you're beyond threats, which is usually the case with friends.

Actually if we assume everyone aside from you in your psr range is awful then the other team has 5 slots to be filled by bads while your team only has 4 due to you. So if everyone else in your bracket is much worse than you your mmr should increase over time.
This is if everybody plays all random. Otherwise, picks and teamplay matter. A solid support at 1700-1800 will win almost no games playing the same support for a 1100-1200 game.
- Stacking creeps for your lanemate carry, only to see him suicide to neutrals. Solution: don't stack creeps.
- Attempting to gank after pinging and typing only to watch the dude get away cuz your teammate just stood there, then 10 seconds later they say "sorry afk." (this happens every single game at <1300 mmr, in fact and has gotten me killed on several occasions.) Solution: don't pick characters that require help to gank. Pick stuff like deadwood, pebbles, bubbles, that can pick off the kill regardless of your teammates' idiocy.
- No carry, no push. You beg your teammates to end the game before 30 minutes since you have no carry and the opponent's carry is getting farmed despite your having a 20-kill lead. Your opponents refuse to listen and jungle until the opposing team's carry is level 25. You lose. Solution: pick a hero that can at least pseudo-carry with enough farm. Never ever ever go pure support in a low-mmr game.
- Pick nymphora, tele a jeraziah and pebbles for a warded jungle gank. With .1 seconds left on ult channel they walk away and you die alone. Solution: never pick nymphora or heavily cooperation-dependent heroes in a low-mmr game.
- 5 mans waiting for their 4 teammates to die before jumping in hoping for an annihilation, resulting in clusterfuck teamfights where basically everybody dies for no reason. (This happens both ways, so learn to pick heroes that have some sort of initiation ability or don't expect initiations to occur ever. Just getting ks'd. Take advantage since the other team will do the same thing).
- Having a lanemate who autoattacks and then tanks creeps. This happens just as often when it's on the other team, but if you're used to getting solid protected farm, this will throw you off your game. Solution: Learn some lower gpm builds like my favorite 6-steamboot build, or pick ophelia and just send your lanemate back to base when they start being retarded.
There are many other ways to deal with sub-optimal play all around, none of which are surefire (because the skill variance at low mmr is extremely high... you are just as likely to get a BR no-ward scout as you are to get a pro-as-fuck smurf)
Learning to play with bads is a skill that we must all learn at some point!

Someone got owned by Lisa.
In related news: Money given to friends=money *gifted* to friends. Regardless of what is actually said or agreed upon. Though better friends will pay back assuming said friends actually said such saying. Regardless - never expect it.
Where on TL would I go to ask for questions and advice? Need help getting a TV this summer.
On a more DotA related note: Comp is currently dead, stuck in bios and wont go further. Going to do a clean out and then check the connections. If it's still down I wont be up to play for probably the entire summer. =/
Shinbi Note: If you care about the person it's gg. If you don't, threats and just jack some of his stuff that's equivilant. Also, can I borrow monehs?

lol it was made obvious since the very start that it was a temporary loan and i was given tons of promises over the course of however long its been that she'll stay true to her word and pay it off in its entirety you really think expecting it was a bad idea in light of that?
