This is simple, and I know many long time fighting fans will agree; PS3 version. The D-pad on the Sony controllers are much better than MS'. However there is reasoning for this, and I feel those of you looking for reasoning will be interested.

Essentially, inside the controller, a 360's D-Pad is more or less an analog stick, but with a different cover. However, it's not a full analog stick in the sense of how an Analog stick register's movements a player presses. See an analog stick is like a mirror, everything actually register's backwards. When you hit right on an analog stick, internally the stick is hitting a trigger facing left. The D-Pad on the 360 is imprecise because an analog stick senses how far your push left, and it does it accuaretly cause of the stick itself.

The other point is that the D-Pad for the 360 only registers 4 movement directions. A typical D-pad i.e. Sony's or Nintendo's registers 32. All fighting games are built with that magic number in mind, 32 directional inputs. It is a more accurate D-pad from the ground up. The only more accurate you can get with a fighting game is an arcade stick.

The console versions of Street Fighter IV are scheduled to receive extensive downloadable content following its release, all of which will be available for download via Microsoft's "Xbox Live Marketplace" and Sony's "Playstation Network". The first expansion pack, titled "Championship Mode", will be free of charge and provide players with a replay mode, a new points system and an enhanced tournament matching system. In addition, 5 alternate costume packs will also become available for purchase. These costume packs will include the alternate costumes already seen in the Arcade version and will release on separate dates following the game's February 17th launch.

* 17th Feb – Brawler Pack DLC Pack will include alternate costumes for: Zangief, E.Honda, Rufus, El Fuerte, and Abel.

* 24th Feb – Femme Fatale Pack will include alternate costumes for: Chun-Li, Cammy, Sakura, Rose, and C.Viper.

* 3rd March – Shoryuken Pack will include alternate costumes for: Ryu, Ken, Akuma, Gouken, and Dan.

* 10th March – Shadaloo Pack will include alternate costumes for: Seth, M.Bison, Sagat, Balrog, and Vega.

* 17th March – Classic Pack will include alternate costumes for: Guile, Dhalsim, Fei-Long, Blanka, and Gen.
