Gonna try to aim for 155 evolutions next time ! Force close app method while walking I guess? On which phone do you manage around 12s per evo? Yeah force close with favorited pokemons to evolve and iPhone SE. I'm still losing a lot of time because I have to manualy check evolved pokemons off the favorite list. Anybody have an idea to make this process faster ? If you unfavorite them before evolving them it should be a pretty minimal amount of time. Just have your 2nd thumb hovering over the favorite button so you can hit it instantly then hit Evolve with your other hand. I don't think there's a better way. I've tried that and it re-favorites for w/e reason.

That sounds amazing; though I kind of wish it'd level up the pokemon instead of collecting candy so it was more about getting attached to a pokemon over farming Dratini, Lapras, & Snorlax candy all the time.

Get candy by buddy system? Holy fucking hype!

i guess there was an official announcement.
Go out and explore with your Buddy Pokémon!
Hi everyone,
It’s been a busy summer and, in addition to battling bots and fixing bugs, we’ve also been busy working on some new features for our Pokémon GO Trainers. As you know, we recently released the new Pokémon Appraisal feature, which helps Trainers identify which Pokémon has the most potential for battle. Today we wanted to let you know about a new feature for the game that is just around the corner.
The next addition to Pokémon GO will be Buddy Pokémon. You will be able to pick your favorite Pokémon from your collection to become your buddy, opening up unique in-game rewards and experiences. Buddy Pokémon will appear alongside your Trainer avatar on your profile screen, adding helpful bonuses such as awarding Candy for walking together. You’ll also have the ability to change your Buddy Pokémon at any time.
We’ve got a lot more in the works this fall. Stay tuned here for all the details.
Thanks, The Pokémon GO Development Team

I have seen Drowzee once, ever. It's one of the cool things about the regional differences between Pokemon spawn rates.
Cool, but frustrating as hell occasionally. :D

Heck I see a Hypno practically every week. I've seen 80 Drowzee and 10 Hypno so far.
Actually... I just took a screenshot yesterday. I don't even know if its a nest since the CPs have a normal range. + Show Spoiler +

yep. i also heard jynx are very common in some places. i was so excited to hatch a jynx out of my 10k egg. =)
that being said, eevees are rats around me, i have about 30 eevee evolutions (about 10 of each).
|
That's actually one of two decent locations in my area. You'll see a Jynx there fairly regularly along with other water/ice. Caught a graveler, electabuzz and some other rarer pokemon as well. Have yet to see a lapras there though.

I noticed less bots in gyms around home so it becomes much funnier trying to hold as many as possible. Plus now I have an interest actually training up gyms, especially since there are so many Mystic players around.

You'll be Forrest Gump by the time that snorlax hits cp2000+.
I haven't seen a single Drowzee yet. Living in a desert with plenty of fire, ground and fighting ones. I am very low on water pokemon in general. Most of mine were gotten in Disneyland, lol.

Do you guys think hypno is worth maxing out? I swear he's pretty good at gyms, today a 1400 cp defending a gym beat my 1200 bite/dragon pulse gyarados (which I think was super effective against the hypno). I'm not sure which moves are best, zen headbutt/confusion + psychic?

Hypno is decent, but not that great. I wouldn't spend candies on him. The reason Hypno beat your Gyarados is that Hypno is more CP efficient than Gyarados due to having a better moveset, so if a Hypno and Gyarados as similar CP, Hypno will win. But Gyarados has much higher max CP than Hypno does, so a maxed out Gyarados will beat a maxed out Hypno. If you want a Hypno, Zen Headbutt is better on attack, Confusion is better on defense.
