Now that more and more people are starting to join the community nights (wooooow teamliquid community growing!), it's coming to the point where we should start to implement the old school 1.6 rankings (high, medium, low) to help better balance teams. So basically, in CS:GO context for at least our community nights, anything less than AK is low, AK-DMG is medium, and LE+ is High. Of course, you can do like low+ or medium- depending on where you are exactly to better help differentiate.

Ideally, we should be balancing teams this way so that it's more fun and the low,medium guys have a better chance to learn more from the High guys. Of course, let's get more and more people to join us so we can even have more fun Muahahahah.

I'm open to ideas for this/against this, and ways to do it. the easiest way would be to put [High], etc next to our names during draft

Add something about IGling maybe, some people are just good raw aim and shit but don't want to/can't shotcall, you need atleast 1 shotcaller(or who is willing to) on each team

happens most of the time naturally though so I doubt it has much value.

Yeah that might be a good idea. The only problem is the people who can (POOP) won't want to sign up for it so they don't have to. Imo IGLing is much more taxing when dealing with a varied skill level team. Also one part of community nights is to give a kind environment and to let people experiment. With that said it would be nice to let people try to lead a game. It is awful the first few times (I sucked ass at it and hated it) but you can see if you have any skill or liking of it. Normally you don't really get a chance for this.

I vouch for this idea. So I would have (H) next to my name
