 I miss the BroodWar scene not because of any "better game or dead game" shit just the nastalgia sake. I haven't played melee in awhile but I definitely feel the itch to play again! Guna hit up some of my friends and see if I can still play a smooth Marth  | ||

I'm not judging because I'm definitely like that too, but what I'm saying is that the elitism comes from an (over?)appreciation of deep and complex games, and though LoL might qualify when observed in a vacuum, when compared to Dota it's just lacking in that department. That doesn't have to be a negative, as it puts the emphasis on other aspects of the game which are equally competitive, but for an elitist it's not as compelling. SSBM however certainly qualifies (just watch the documentary), so it fits in with the Teamliquid image. Oh, and I also think TL simply doesn't want to branch out too much, so they're being very selective. | ||
