You can do that on your own, by playing with your own cartridge. The point is having fun. Would we have the Helix Fossil if we started with democracy from the beginning? Would we have Bird Jesus? We should use it only in extreme situations (as the tile maze), not as our primary mean of progressing, because it takes all the fun out of it.
