The even more idiotic thing is that in very "dense population" zones like the Dark Portal or Thrallmar, there's literally 3/4 alliances AT LEAST always camping. If you are lucky, you see one Horde. Just to fucking get to Thrallmar the first time she had to bubble through all the gankers and i had to jump down from the cliff, slowfall and blink right next to it. I've given up levelling my old main past 87 because i get to do maybe half a quest before being ganked. I'm a match for anyone 1v1, but 2+v1 with one of them often being 90 is just dumb
I highly doubt this kind of shit is happens on every server.
Oh and, there's lots of high population PvE servers. Many of my former guildies moved to Draenor. That's precisely why I roll PvE. I have no problems with world PvP but not that kind of "PvP" @Pandemona: how about find one within the already connected realms?
Eh, that happens. I was finishing leveling to 90 yesterday and accidentally killed an Alliance (meaning, I was tab targeting and didn't even notice this one wasn't a mob X I had to kill). Instead of just rezzing and trying to kill me in return (or running away), he called a decked out guildmate in.
Imho, that is fine. Whatever is happening on that one server sounds pretty lame, but I haven't ever run into scenarios where there are consistently roving packs of Alliance out there with the sole purpose to gank. Sure, they come up from time to time; usually when a player is pissed off about dying and calling in a bunch of friends to wage war on a zone, but it never lasts very long before everything is back to normal.

Yeah i was about to say wasn't their zone specific places like Hellfire which are basically cross realm world PvP locations to fight due that battle for thrallmer or something in the middle?
Same with the place in Nargrand with the crazy flying thing which was fun for about 1 attempt then was boring xd

CRZ is the reason you're seeing people from other servers in your "server". By default CRZ applies to everything except Pandaria but it still works there as well if you invite someone to your group from other server. So it doesn't really matter what server you're on, there's alliance in Thrallmar and horde in Honor Hold almost any given time. Sylvanas being pretty much 90% alliance is reason why you're going to have a hard time in Timeless Isle and other popular zones in Pandaria. So as long as you're on a server with somewhat even, or totally one sided for your faction, balance the current continent shouldn't be too bad, I'd imagine Pandaria will become CRZ in WoD and Draenor will work like Pandaria does now.
I'd actually advise not to go to full server even if the AH prices are lower and what not. As with servers like Kazzak, TN, Silvermoon, Draenor being totally one sided with their factions it's actually more irritating to compete against your own faction rather than your enemy, not to mention queues and lag in raids.

The agencies, the documents show, have built mass-collection capabilities against the Xbox Live console network, which boasts more than 48 million players. Real-life agents have been deployed into virtual realms, from those Orc hordes in World of Warcraft to the human avatars of Second Life. There were attempts, too, to recruit potential informants from the games' tech-friendly users.

Yeah i will look into the realms that were listed as newly "cross realm" zones to see if any of those now have a decent population size now. I will not be suggestion we take the guild to a realm with potential queue times at peak times at all either. I have pissed myself off with this as it is so i will be looking for a good home with no queues for us

Yeah but i'd imagine CRZ only kicks in when a region has low population. If the number of players in a zone remains relatively high (like on a big server like Sylvanas) the only players you see are still those from your own, ie alliance...unless i misunderstand how CRZ works. As far as Hellifre goes, i've never seen the horde even with sufficient numbers to attack Honor Hold.

In theory yes but the actual parameters to CRZ are known to Blizzard only. It has caused a lot of things to happen and some bugs took quite a while before they got fixed. I often saw people from the same servers in places with CRZ so I'd guess there's some kind of preference as to what servers it throws together. Hellfire for example became the new TM vs SS with people from all the big servers fighting and defending their places in turns at the start, don't know if that has changed now.
With Connected or Virtual, whatever, realms and CRZ things might a be bit confusing, especially if you're just coming back now. Hopefully they'll clear things a bit come WoD.

Looks like it will be Horde! Any Server Recommendations? What i am thinking, is we can make a guild if there is 10ish people interested, can make it a nice raid guild for 2 or 3 nights a week (depending on availability etcetc) i can get my friends involved which is 4 people already and we can see where we go for WoD. With the scrolls going around at the moment and the Refer a Friends we have lots of opportunities to get it all sorted. Also be free to bring your own friends along too, i would like to get a nice guild going so please if your interested lets try

Also remember Raiding in WoD is all about flexible numbers, you can raid with any number from 10players up to maximum of 25. To do heroic modes it is now called Mystic and you will need to have 20 players. We can of course if players wanted to, become a Mystic raiding guild but we will need a decent sized roster  to get 20 players

I'll most likely be up for it! Most of my RL friends I used to raid with have stopped playing and I recently got back into the game. I'd love to get back into raiding wioth my rogue, shammy or warrior.

Can choose to transfer a character (in addition to boosting it to 80).

Well those are pretty much our criteria to a T, so you'll probably like whichever realm we end up picking. Like Acro said, the scroll works on any character under 80, and it allows you to faction and realm switch along with the level upgrade. I can send you one if you want to pm your email.

Correct, though as a note it basically consists of two linked processes: Free Transfer / Faction Change + Level Up. Thus you can choose to "level up" an existing character to 80 (or use it on a 80+ character to trigger transfer), but then have to transfer that character.
They don't have to occur simultaneously though, so what I'd do is boost a character to 80 on my old realm, transfer up to 20k gold to it (https://eu.battle.net/support/en/article/character-transfer-faq-201703#q5) (and more items if you want to do some cross-server arbitrage as there's no limit on that), and then transfer it to whatever realm I'm going to.

I guess I'd be interested in joining the EU guild, I'm dying to play somewhat seriously again and am up for playing any class, I don't mind leveling from scratch either. I'd like to start playing in advance with people though.
