Fan of RPG, fantasy? Kingdom hearts 3, FF15 Fan of action, open world? Assassin's creed, Infamous, Watch dogs Fan of fps? Killzone Bored and some time to kill? Find some funny looking indie game and have fun.
KH is the only positive from all that. Most others are multiplatform. Killzone is just bad.
Going to have to see is PSN is still shitty and how many more people are on XBL comparatively. All these games coming out are mostly MP and persistent worlds, population will be a factor and XBL has always had more people.

I don't think you have to pay to play multi. They said "full immersion" so it's gotta be a premium upgrade on the default free stuff.
he said non-Plus members will still be able to play single player games and that's pretty much it. definitely sounded like you will need plus subscription to play online

Extremely doubtful with the cell structure of PS3 . In february it was mentioned maybe in the future with Gakai streaming but thats still in the works.
it was just announced in the conference that there's the ability to stream ps3 games through cloud-based gaming
Like i said with Gakai but thats likely not going to be ready with launch.
What do you guys think these announcements will mean for the Fighting Games community? Is it possible that from now on they will run their tournaments exclusively on PS4?

Hmm didn't hear that so yeah you're maybe right. That's a shame :/
They stated earlier, I think right after MS 1st conference, they were thinking of a work around on backwards compatability through the cloud. Gakai seems to be the answer, and thus isn't quite ready yet.

Pretty happy with Sony overall, finally.
Infamous is awesome.
Doesnt look interesting at all.
Currently the only thing i feel i missed out on without ever getting a PS3 was God of War, Demon Souls and now The Last of Us

You don't seem to be a fan of console games in general, what do you normally play if none of those looked appealing to you?

PS4 is using x86 and PS3 is Cell so no there is no backwards compatibility.
then what is this gaikai shit that people tell me about.
why would I need to rebuy my games, I only own physical copies not digital ones.
PS4 hardware can't handle PS3 games. Gaikai is a streaming service, so the games don't even run on your console, but somewhere on a server and are being streamed to you. So unless there is some way to prove you own something, you're gonna have to rebuy it.
So in the end I know that I will be getting a PS4 over the Xbox One, but only several years down the line. If I have £350 on hand I would much rather spend that on a new graphics card than a console that I will only be playing a few games on.
Five dollars is minuscule compared to the likes of Xbox Live, and costs around two cups of coffee, all for multiplayer in one month. Definitely worth the cost.
