Yeah I knew it had a solid set of followers but I hadn't heard any other notable esports figures want in (WE WANT Day9 should be chanted! although I dunno if he could top the characters we have; for some reason the meshing between these 4 has been picture perfect in how imperfect it has worked out but it just feels so right, nerd chills).
No way man... not unless you want a whole segment of unstoppable laughter :D
It'd be pretty cool to have guest players though to play certain npcs. Always liked to do that myself.
Yeah that's what I mean : D Like imagine day9 coming on as a roll for an npc campaign for like a week or two, I'd love that shit hahahaaha
do they plan on ending rollplay anytime soon? Think about it, they've been going for relatively 4 months now... Like that IS A LONG time. I really hope they don't but could they be bored? Maybe not liking? Could this have been the + Show Spoiler +
"Well he was part of the crew, we're done now" kinda feel?
I dunno just throwing it out and hoping one of them responds tbh; I think I can speak for the community created around this campaign in how freaking crappy that'd be hahaha and none of them have hinted at this, this is pure speculation, but it's something to take into account.
Dying is a pretty big part of DnD. Saying you stop playing just because one PC died is like saying "I destroy my car cause I have no fuel"....
In addition to that i think this moment was a highlight, it makes everything just more excited
Sorry before watching Rollplay (it's actually pretty funny, I got started when it was 5 weeks in and then got Firefly addicted) I've never seen, heard (except when shows kinda poke fun like Community or South Park) or watched D&D so it's all new to me.
I wish I knew some people who'd be willing to do it over skype but I dunno anyone who does stuff like this hahaha I'll like add this to my bucket list and go all Pierce Hothhorn : D
Try this topic, that's where me and my group got together, inspired by Rollplay and we're totally absorbed in our game.

If they every run into some tribe of trolls or something, 2GD should be the troll cheiftan / warlord whatever.

Currently I am looking for 1-2 players for a Shadowrun oneshot, centirius is looking for another player for a Pathfinder campaign, and if you are really quick randombum might still be looking for a player for a pathfinder oneshot.
It feels like JP's next character is going to have to be another cleric, or the group wouldn't be able to function. Due to this, it seems inevitable that his re-introduction is going to seem pretty forced.
Despite this, I am super super excited for tonight's episode, and I can't wait to see what happens.
a wizard to control the battlefield and creatures can do just fine, but they might be resting quite a bit between fights then, if they have no healer to top them up during rest.

Yeah, it's always felt like JP could make a fuckton of money just selling his healing services to people...
They can pillage tudagud's still warm copse to get the healing bracer's. They may be enough to make a lesser healer still quite effective. Someone suggested Vincent multiclassing a couple of lvls as a cleric, I suppose that could work. Perhaps they can purchase a magic item that can heal x many times per day.
I'm not sure if there's anything else of value on tudagub. I imagine they can pry his pink boots off his feet and sell them to a wizard shop.
Normal healing potions are not really useful in combat as they take a whole round to drink and only heal a few points. In that round a monster can hit you for more than the potion heals you for. And it is not only heals, a priest brings other useful spells, such as command.
Also, Bregor will get some basic healing spells eventually, but I am not sure at what level. Perhaps level 8 ranger for light heal?
