Every game has space control and mixups, but I would argue there's a lot more to learn if you want to really get into watching and understanding a more complicated game. Do tell.

So...they just had an arm wrestling match as a warmup to the game, wtf.

lol. Vu is hilarious. Though even I started to get tired of all the nonsense once people that weren't even playing got involved. What's bull shit is he made us watch all that just to get 3-0'd, what a jerk

They weren't warming up. They were killing time while staff fixed the monitors.

oooh that makes sense. I didnt have sound on, was just watching in the background and looked when I saw ranmasama getting up to play. then had no clue what was going on

EVO pools have been released for community review! http://evo2013.s3.amazonaws.com/brackets/index.html
It'd be cool if everyone would post pools that they find interesting, from any game.
So far I've only looked over TTT2 and some of the Smash, but this is what's stood out so far: TTT2: -B55 has JustFrame James vs Tokido in WR1! -Only a couple of Koreans and a few Japanese players. A couple Chileans, and a pinch of Mexicans, Brits, and South Africans. Overall a less international turnout that what I was hoping for (in addition to the low attendance) Smash: -E60 has both Ken and Mew2King with a potential match between the two in WR4

Luis Cha is in my KoF pool D:

Looks like I get to face Latif round 1 in SF4. I don't recognize anyone else in the pool, though.
|
lol I did a quick look through some of first and last pool brackets and I already see Mike Ross facing ChocoBlanka first round. XD Are you going to handle a separate EVO thread like you did last year, pachi? I found your OP with all the notables from each pool really valuable into knowing where to look for who to watch. :D

It's usually on the stick itself. It's next to the Turbo button if you"re playing on a Madcatz stick

Is MK9 PC worth buying a new stick for? I thought using analog mode creates significant input lag anyway.
And yes that stick is identical to a TE from what I can tell.
