I get 40 to 55 if I let the animations play out. If I move, it dips to 30 on some occasions when there are large explosions.

I'm running on a E3 1230 V2+GTX670, using NVIDIA Experience preset, looks like a mix of High-Ultra, getting 60-70 on most maps.

what's the NVIDIA Experience? I thought it was some gimmick thing.
My settings are nearly high-ultra, but the framerate goes crazy

So I spent many hours yesterday watching streams of the entire campaign. It seemed kinda fun and visceral, but extremely scripted and on-rails with little replay value. Fortunately, the multiplayer looks solid. I'll probably pick this game up once all the DLCs are released and packaged into a reasonable deal.

Didn't really happen with BF3 though. At least, not as far as I could see. Didn't see any deep discounts on either the base game or the Premium edition.
I hope this isn't the case with 4.

Towards the end, there were some 50% off for BF3 base or some DLCs. But it was like two years later or so.

I got bf3 premium for 5 dollars about a year ago

I recall EA selling BF3 + premium for a nice €50 about a year or a year and a half after launch.

I believe there was a premium edition bf3 when all the DLCs came out. Which is $60 for the game + the DLCs.

Is the overall performance considerably better than in the beta for you? I have to wait till tomorrow to test it and I had a really bad overall FPS during beta, not even counting the common FPS drops. While I can play BF3 maxed out, BF4 ran pretty bad with medium-low settings. : /
Running it on I5-2500 & gtx 570. Both conservatively overclocked. 8 GB ram, windows 7 64 bit. All on relatively low resolution 1680x1050, since my monitor is a little older.
I've heard that windows 8 can make quite the difference, but I can't believe it's that much.

Its a little bit better I feel. But I did not test it on Shanghai.

Wow, I have almost identical system to you and had the same issue with the beta. Ran perfect on BF3 and ran absolutely pathetic on the beta so I'm hesitant to buy it.

Well..we'll see tomorrow I can write you a PM after I've tested it.
How about the unlock speed? Level ups and unlocks as slow as in the beta? Wouldn't be too bad long term wise.

How come there's no Hardcore servers ? ;(

So my machine is identical in Everyway except I have gtx 760. I had shit performance in beta but I can now run bf4 ultra settings 1920 by 1200 with average fps of 50 to 60. It's a hell of a lot better then beta for me anyway.
|
I have the 760, I can't run all ultra. What are your specific settings?
|
Holy shit the game is way fatter than it should be. It's lagging like crazy even though I've upgraded most of the parts on my PC recently. Can't run even the campaign on low settings.
LOL, just lol
Something doesn't feel right, because there is no way, no fucking way it should lag me out even on low settings.

try telling us your specs instead of just blurting shit out

Post how it goes. I'm also running a 570 altho with i3 3.4GHz. Also ran like dog shit in the beta so haven't bought it. It's EA so can't really imagine any decent discount until BF5 is nearly out.
