Yeah the bike was the best part.
All 7 going to cherno when suddenly that guy on bike coming through.
Then the call on vent goes out, all 7 people light him up all carrying m4a3 and m4's plus me shooting a fucking rocket and misses him.
We think we killed him go forward and then one of us dies and we continue shooting him after he shoots back.

Hey guys, i bought the game yesterday and it's freaking awesome. But i wonder if i do anything bad. This afternoon i started a new character and i went to Cherno to get some stuff. I inspected maybe 6 freaking house + supermarket + 2 industrial site and i couldn't find any fire weapon ; only 7 hatchet and a TON of munition. Is it normal or was i just very unlucky?

Its both normal and you were very unlucky to find no weapon, it could be wither that someone was there before you and looted all the weapons.

I remember why I didn't edit it or upload it, there was no sound recorded since my xsplit local recording settings weren't sorted out. I'll upload it soon, might make a montage type thing after I've done my work.

Posted earlier best day on day z today, but sadly it ended up as the worst day! lol! after we both logged at around 18:00 we decide to go check starry habor once again, at one point we are close to the tents side in the forest hidden waiting to see if anyone is in there. we see some zed bodies so we are sure 100% that there are players there. at one point we hear shootings! and zombies running like crazy! the guy is in the church, i can only see from my binoculars many many zombies running into there and him killing everything, at some point he dies. then my friends says : cover my from the forest i go see if there is any loot in the tents. suddently my friends dies from a guy that was connecting/disconnecting all the time, i start shooting at him with my silenced assault rifle, dunno if i got him, a friend of his starts coming from the left, he had a sniper, one shots me! we are now both dead. sad

i just killed some guy in ghillie suit who was standing near a deer stand. we looked at each other and i opened fire and killed him. it was so strange but he's got like full survival gear, ghillie suit and some other cool stuff. :D
also found bus/bicycle.

I was on my way to a deerstand west of Dubrovka when I lost track of my position. There was a street going southwest, but no street in this direction on the map. Was walking around for 10-15 minutes to find out where exactly I was at the moment and tada, a helicopter crash site right next to a deerstand :D Picked up a MG249 with lots and lots of ammunition when a friend called me in Skype and asked if I wanted to play some DayZ.
We decided to meet in Dubrovka. I thought I was only 3-4min west of Dubrovka, so I headed east. But something wasn't right... something was bothering me. Since when was there a huge ass castle close to Dubrovka? Turns out, there is no castle close to Dubrovka and I successfully managed to find Devil's Castle without even trying.
Well, I was already close to the airfield and my buddy had a bicycle, so new meeting point: Grishino. On his way to Grishino he found another heli crash site, but sadly already looted. When I checked the town from a safe distance, I saw somebody already triggered the zombie spawn and shot some of them. So I made myself comfortable in the forest nearby to wait.
After a while the zombies disappeared and my friend told me, he could see Grishino now and would ride up to the church. He told me he was there. But something wasn't right... something was bothering me. No zombies spawned and I couldn't see anybody near the church. He replied: "I'm gonna check out the supermarket." - "Which supermarket?" - "The supermarket next to the church." Turns out, there is no supermarket in Grishino and he successfully managed to find Krasnostav.

So please come join us on Atlanta 69, today the server is up and running tomorrow we will be making changes to it and we will all hopefully create a place to play fairly without server admin abuse

So I got bored today started to surf TL like I normally do and I see this thread . Omfg! how have I not see this before haven't got to play yet just started downloading the game with my girl I cant fucking wait! Really seems like the zombie game everyone been wanting to play.

500 zombie kills, 15 murders with a ghillie + DMR sniping at elektro.
I had been there for about 2 hours and had not been seen. I decide that I'll move even closer to a bush so I'm invisible and afk for a whole 3 minutes and sure enough I come back dead.

I just bought the game and its seems fun but the lighting in the game is so bad, I must have some settings wrong or something but it looks absolutely terrible, if the sun or anything is pointing at you everything turns really dark. is there a way to fix this?

i learned about the canada 2 server, and how u if u hit respawn it brings u somewhere.
do i just leave and rejoin another server?

If you are in the debug forest run east, you will end up near Pavlovo.

Im done trying to play for tonight. Took a hour to install everything (game, java, direct X, beta, Day Z mod) (or 1.5 hours)
Then the past hour trying to figure out why it was giving me a "Bad version -- exiting" basically, and telling me i dont have CABUildingMod or something... AND its saying it wont load my 3d...
