In users/yourname there is a map called Salem, in that map open the radar.xml with notepad or similar. All items not or wrongly defined here get a default yellow color. Come across a new or missed item? copy the correct name from the minimap, and add a line in the code with a color of your choosing. It's a good temporary fix until ender's client gets icon or similar too. Plus this way you can turn things like autumn grass off.
