Level 19 now and I've jumped over to the Nightfall campaign. I had completely forgotten about M.O.X and the Fire Imp until rivurivurivurivu reminded me (thanks!) and they have been a great help, I only wish I had remembered them earlier.
I've got a bunch of heroes now, the ones you get at the beginning of Nightfall, which is cool, but I'm hoping to mess around with the Sabway build and maybe tweak it a bit. The one Baituri mentioned looks good too, I'll have to try that out or incorporate it into my own system. Do the 3 Necro Heroes necessary for Sabway come as part of the main storyline?
After messing around with the hero system for a bit, it seems a shame that GW2 doesn't have anything similar, at least as far as I know. I realize that with their dynamic scaling, there's not a need for a full party wherever you go, but I quite like to have a whole crew of customizable characters fighting for me. It's sort of reminiscent of old party-based JRPGs.

Nope, Master of whispers in nightfall, livia in EoTN and Oli in kryta.

That depends on what you're doing. I believe every boss-like create and every event-area scales with the amount of players. Trash mobs around Tyria only scales up to 5 people (or 10, I'm not sure)

Just recently revealed in the Q&A that gw2 will allow 1 word character names.
