Really dislike Monaldo after his insane driving against Lewis last year at Spa and what do you know, he's back at it... another incident like that and he should take a race ban.

But quali was really good, nice to see Schumacher up there after his appauling race in Spain where he drove clean into the back of Senna though, not sure what he can do unless it rains, still got my hopes up for hammy to take it tomorrow, and its great to see Webber really out performing seb in quali!

Ok fuck this, I can't hold it in anymore. I fucking despise whoever produced the formula 'show' on UK television that shows the timings and all that stuff. That guy in charge needs to be fired. Fucking ridiculous. Oh look, I'm trying to watch qualifying so the only thing I'm interested in is the timings, where people are and what times they need to beat; it adds suspense and interest.

OH BUT WAIT we don't need to put that on the screen, no of course not. It's not helpful at all to show the timings THE ENTIRE Q3. Fuck. Grosjean gets that time and they are like "oh not good enough for pole".. well so, where he is? I have no fucking idea because you haven't shown the timings in 8 minutes and the commentators never mentioned it.

Just so awful I hope he dies by a falling cow. *sigh* I feel better now I got that out.

that the BBC coverage? I tend to watch the BBC's build up becasue its so much better than Sky's and then the actual race/quali etc on Sky becasue they have the better commentators out of the two...

I don't think that was BBC's fault. Was apparently a problem with the international production, there was also no info on german TV and they blamed it on the international signal/info/PC/whatever.

Jesus... I really think that the FIA needs to get a grip on Formula cars and how they just almost seem to take off once airborn, we've seen it many times in F1 in recent history... I don't know how much slower they are than F1 cars but it wouldn't have taken much for him to have gone over that fencing!

Though goes to show how far we have come when you can have a crash like that and still walk away... though why did the guy in front think he could defend without a rear wing? :/

I think the guy's just an asshole, read on twitter from one of the drivers(I think) that he had been black/orange flagged for 3 laps before this incident, anyone who keeps trying to race without a rear wing and ignores black flags should not be allowed in a racing car.

The safety of modern open wheelers and racing cars in general is awesome, though an F1 car could probably have gone over the fence and that can end badly.

Yeah, the direction of the race (so camera switching, showing the times/placements, ...) is all done by the FIA afaik (or some production company affiliated with them). It's just the same as in almost every other sport you can see on your tv, one local production being broadcasted internationally and tv-stations can then use this to do their commentary over.

You might want to edit the starting grid, Maldonado got an additional penalty (5 places) for a gearbox change and he will probably start as last behind Perez

The safety of modern open wheelers and racing cars in general is awesome, though an F1 car could probably have gone over the fence and that can end badly.

apparentally he was totally excluded from the result of the race after ingoring black and orange flags and was fighting over... 11th place.. not even for a point..

Don't worry, he's just trying to follow in Maldonado's footsteps. Almost killing people seems to work, if you have the money to pay your way out of any trouble.

Suranovich is a dick driver, so many blocking moves and driving with a lost rear wing. Should be suspended from driving for a while or something.

I don't think that was BBC's fault. Was apparently a problem with the international production, there was also no info on german TV and they blamed it on the international signal/info/PC/whatever.

Yeah I figured which was why I was careful to never mention BBC. Oh well, race today.. Lets hope it goes well, nobody gets hurt and Hamilton wins >

Webber's got this probably. Expect another jump in the RedBull pool.
I'm gutted Schumi got the 5place penalty though. FIA ruining races again (I know I'm a stuck record lol)
Would be nice to see him win a race, especially at Monaco. Let's hope for rain!

Schuy ruined his own race you can't blame the FIA for that, personally I don't think webber will win as his starts have been so bad, I think Lewis is probablly in the best place to win unless rosberg can put together a special first half of the race

Yes I can. They shouldn't ruin the next race. Dock him 10 championship points or something, leave the races alone.

Haha anyone watching BBC? Guy with a megaphone trolling Eddy Jordan, has me in stitches.
