You can't roll a new char on Tichondrius, as the realm is listed as "full". I'm on Akama (alliance) for anyone looking for someone to play with on a medium pop server that has pretty good pvp. There are a number of progression raid guilds (mostly ten man) and I've found most world questing has just the right amount of pvp interaction. Lemme know if anyone needs a scroll of resurrection.

I believe you do get MoP content, you can also check in your Bnet info sometime you can get a free trail of MoP if you don't have it. Servers dont matter all that much now that you can group cross realm, except for guild purposes we can pvp/raid as is.

Yes you do. But i'm on EU 
But the thing i can do (for those in EU that wants resurrect spell) is to create a level 1 character of the realm of your choice and then invite you with the resurect spell so you could transport to this realm.
Also you have to have your account disable for a year in order for the spell to work i think.
Also you can activate a 10day free (without resurrection spell) on your account anytime (that's what i did before buying mop). You don't need an active account to do that. Maybe that was an offer and it's not available anymore... I don't know. You will have to check.

Unfortunately the resurrection scroll does not enable access to MoP content so I'm kinda lost as to what I can do as a 85 right now. D:

I could be wrong. All of Cataclysm is available to me, but I can't seem to find anything allowing me to go to MoP areas.

You need to do a quest that starts in SW/Orgri and then you can have access to Mop. But just look on your bnet account. You would have written : "Mop" if you have contents.
If you are alliance, you need to go to SW castle (i think) then you go into a flying ship that is just over stormiwind. Do like ... 3 or 4 quest and then you go to pandaland
It's kind of the same mechanism as when you needed to do quest to go in Vashjyr at the start of cata

Oh i was in cata and i could do the 10days trial mop... but i bought it. Maybe there is someone that can give you a resurect scroll in US but i don't know if it works if you activate the trial

That's with a scroll of resurrection (the SOR2 Cataclysm/Free 7Day), not a trial.

I logged in for about half an hour, found my guild was completely inactive, found that I couldn't access MoP content, and logged off. :/

Talents system have been revamped. You chose a spec like before but you don't have the tree. You have 3talents by 20level (or something like that) and you chose 1 of the 3.
You can of course change them with a respec thingy. It's a little clearer than before. I wasn't sure about it at start but it's quite good. There is a post a few page back that explain it.

Every class now has 6 tiers of talents currently, each one gained every 15 levels. Each tier has similar talents, so you can choose between them basing on situation. So instead of going a cookie cutter build like in the past, you will go more talent which is based the situation since you can switch talents on the fly out of combat.
Overall i will say it is a good improvement since the old talent system gave you very little freedom since you had the "go to" builds. Where now they have done a good job balancing the different talents

Downed 7 bosses in 10 man normal SoS with some random guild last night, gonna go for at least 11/14 tonight! Nazgrim is our starter though and he's a huge bitch lol.

Thokk is a bitch, after 1 or 2 shotting every boss in normal 10 man Soo, we wiped for 2 hours on him. That run back is so awful =(

Yeah after seeing how much more trouble Thokk is in flex than lfr, I've been dreading him in normal. Oh well!
