Just wondering if i'm the only one doing that. every time i play CS;GO its with a bunch of friends so we don't end up with anyone random, all of our games are just us talking on teamspeak about our daily life and sharing some laughs, CS is just like a background application we don't even talk about it unless a funny action takes place...
Weird thing is that we have a positive winrate...

obviously I downloaded hacks so now watch out for me in MM You should read the reactions when they get banned. I see them posted alot of csgo reddit and it's so funny. They literally get so angry that they got banned it cracks me up.
*gasp* Are you the fabled leak master?

I think I just don't enjoy this game.
I thought with CSGO I wouldn't care so much about rank or winning/losing, but cooperating with headstrong people is just not enjoyable each and every time. Even if we win by a large margin, it's too exhausting to have to communicate with people who continue to do their own thing: regardless if it works or not.
It's pretty much like this in all games, so that on top of being terrible at shooters, leads me to not really want to play this game anymore. You guys are right in that you have to play with friends to get any sense of relief and cooperative/mutual communication.

I either I go along with what they are doing and hopefully positive results ensue
if they are horrible and don't listen, then I give up on communicating with them and hope the rest of the team can carry the slack
if the entire team is out matched, then I just try to practice holding angles & aim mechanics
I'm ranked Silver Elite with 19 won MM games and go into MM expecting minimal communication though
also play at least 10 times as much FFA / TDM than MM which probably helps with not getting jaded by bad team mates

Well....I think that generic statement really applies to ALL "Team" games. We're in an age of technology, so many people (especially online) are truly not socially savvy. My rule of thumb is, less is better when it comes to communication.
Scenario 1) You call a strat: 4 people go, 1 constantly goes his own way. Can't do anything there, just ignore it. Eventually he wisens up if everyone is on his/her case or it's hopeless. Focus on your own shit.
Scenario 2) Random shit happening: Minimap is your best friend. I love the Minimap compared to DotA 2, it's almost a maphack. Just follow where your teammates go, or fill in the gaps to where they don't go on CT side. All goes down to focus on your own shit.
Just mute people and try to have fun.....easier said than done. Sage advice from Grade A Rager Slardar.

Take all that pent up rage, get into a game with znf, and direct it towards him.
Works 10/10.

The thing in CS compared to mobas is that you kind of can carry on your own if you're better than the opponents, and you also can have fun even if you lose the game (more than when playing against a fed mid and fed carry anyway). It is annoying though to have to play with jerks regardless of how good they are, and it happens quite often

Also probably has something to do with the fact that the game in its current state is not good. Its just too stressful playing this game, especially if you dedicate a lot of time to it, because anything can and will happen due to poor mechanics that are still not fixed. There just isn't as much of a reward for being better than someone else.

Can't watch the stream. Twitch is constantly buffering again. I hate it.

Swag7
For those of you not watching the stream, fnatic against dAT on Nuke, fnatic CT side. Last round of the half, JW pushed through the hut by squeaky and got a triple with the Mag7; b1ad3 killed him, picked up the shotgun and aced. JW's gun had 7 killed that round, I think.

triple + ace = seven.
Hue.

HEY GUYS LET'S MATH
if JW gets 3 kills
and then is holding the shotgun
when blade kills him
and then blade picks up the shotgun
and gets four more kills
how many kills is that

|
|
Hue.
(It might have been six because I'm not sure whether b1ad3 got a kill before he dropped JW. Either way it was fun.)

I'm curious, why do you think the game in it's current state isn't good? Other than the 64 tick servers, I don't really see how they could make the game a whole lot better (ok maybe change some wallbangs but I'm not entirely sure, don't have enough knowledge on that). To be honest, the game is surely a lot better than what it used to be. I also fail to understand which poor mechanics that could make anything happen, it's not like csgo had some RNG mechanics. If you have good communication within the team, good game sense, watch the minimap often and a good aim, nothing "random" will happen.
I think Torte problem is that he's stuck in lower ranks where most people are just retards and don't want to deal with it anymore. It's hard to improve as a player when you're stuck playing with idiots who don't want to cooperate. It can also affect your mental state where you stop caring about trying to win the game and you just get pissed off at nearly everything which normally leads to playing worst then what you usually do.
Sure playing with friends will make the game a whole lot more enjoyable but it doesn't mean you will win more often. Recently I started playing solo sometimes and I have to say, my experience was sometimes as equal or even better than when I play with friends (I was actually very surprised by this after reading posts here on how bad solo q can be). I've went from gold nova 3 back to MG1 again while playing a mix of solo q and with a stack of 1 to 3 friends. Sure it's not always like that and I might been have really lucky but solo q isn't always bad. IMO, when your stuck in lower ranks, you just need to focus on improving and stop caring about the rest. Once you start getting better, you will start winning more easily and you will probably start to carry games on your own. But yeah, if you can play with friends you will enjoy the game a lot more at lower ranks.

People have pretty bad mindsets all the way up to MG, though I think Novas are probably the worst in terms of mindset. I mute my team and the enemy team almost every game because of that, especially with the amount of backseat gaming most people tend to do.

could somebody explain to me why boxes being sold on the market at higher price than actual commons item? I mean you even need a key after....
|
My guess is that they're less plentiful than common items right now and aren't very likely to drop as opposed to something like a tec9 skin or something.
