And yeah, Tennet, you're right, if I really go from the very edge to the very edge of the mousepad I can still just barely do a 180 at that sensitivity. A big problem in a real game, still, but I can see how this extremely low sensitivity does indeed greatly help out your forward cone of fire. | ||

I don't think any of us have pointer precision checked, use driver-side mouse acceleration, aren't at 6/11, don't use raw input etc. 400DPI 1.6 is the very minimum at which I can still do a 180 in one motion so of course you can do it at 800 DPI with almost the same ingame sensitivity setting.  Anything lower and it becomes impossible but, as Tennet has said, some people still purposely do that and don't care about not being able to turn around. | ||

Also, I'm curious to know what impression the ranks give you guys. In all honesty, at times I feel like the skill gap between MG2 all the way to eagle is not that broad. | ||

And Nihilstarcraft you were talking about 2.5@400 dpi in your first post which i was replaying too, at 1.6 yeah it makes sense  Also someone said he needed 30cm to do a 180 at 3@800 which doesn't make sense at all, so this guy should check his windows settings, there has to be something wrong. | ||

Everything is right. Note that I still play 1.6 for now but that shouldn't make a difference right? I use a pretty simple mouse (Razer Salmosa) without any complicated driver. The 25-30 cm was vague, I guess it's a bit less but it's almost my entire mousepad (which is 25-30 cm). It's definately not 8,5 cm like one guy here said. | ||
