Just gotta get around lowering my crosshair gap by one more so I can be 100% sure it's a headshot I think the idea is you'll be alot better with lower sens. I know for a fact the way i control my mouse is so fucking sub-optimal, even if ive spent so long doing it ive mastered it and am actually pretty gud. Not even getting it to ridiculous settings like these guys have (400/1-2) but reducing it would help alot. DPI seems easiest to lower, try taking that 1400 to 1000 over the course of a week, i doubt you'll notice a difference if you do it gradually but i bet it would help :-) I started at 1800/4.5 sens and i notice a definite improvement in my aim now its 1000/3.5 (now 800/3 but untested XD) I just find it really hard to change my settings because of how used i am to never moving my arm. If you're used to moving your arm with mouse control, i could imagine it being a fuckton easier then my struggles :<

As someone said though you need to find something you're comfortable with, but a very high sens will reduce your ability to be accurate and consistent. Depends on your dexterity, some top players are able to play with something pretty high (like someone said get right uses 2.9@400), but others couldn't be consistent with a sens that high, so you have to try and find one you like while staying in a reasonable margin I think.

I was trying to say that I literally can not do a 180 turn in one motion from the far left to the far right on my XXL mousepad at 400DPI with 2.5 or lower sensitivity - which made me wonder whether or not pros really play with THAT low sensitivity (knowing they go down to 1 and a bit at 400DPI) or if there's some factor here that results in me somehow having lower sensitivity then I should through some setting or who-knows-what. Can anybody confirm that it's normal not to be able to do 180 without going almost a metre(!) with your mouse at for example 1.5/400DPI?

low sensitivity club whoop whoop I tried going back up to 2.16 (my old sensitivity) the other day and I couldn't hit the broad side of a barn if I was inside it.

I was shot twice with an awp for telling my teammate that standing out in the middle of long trying to 1v2 CTs is not the best idea when he could instead peek from pit and kill them both easily. Back to ESEA. yo, got a week code I can use? Never tried esea yet

Is that correct? Raw input is on. Is there any other setting that might interfere with this or something or are people really playing with THIS low sensitivity? My mousepad is almost the same exact size and I have no trouble doing a 180 at 400/1.6. I used to play 400/2 and I would almost 360 with one swipe..(I think about a 310 degree turn). Weird.. I don't think anyone has posted this yet but someone made a custom language file for csgo that cleans up in game friend list and chat, it's pretty awesome. http://csgo.gamebanana.com/gamefiles/3711

Playing at 1280x1024 (19" 5:4 Monitor), so that could make a difference.
