is it just me or it's really really long to game a game going in competitive? I just finished my 10 win and after that, it take forever to find a game (I just stop waiting after 6min and when in pub / deadmatch).

Anyone else have this issue?

I guess mine varies from time of day. Sometimes sub 5 mins, others 10ish~ would be normal. I'm only at Silv EM btw.

At least once a week the MM servers die and it takes an hour to get a match, but most of the time it's about 1-2 minutes. Playing with a wide range of ranks in a stack will cause search times to go up, though.

What I have experienced is it also depends on the max. ping setting of each player in the lobby. This can affect the time it takes to find a match. So far when playing alone (doesn't happen that often though) , I only had problems when the servers were down.

Had no problems with my friend when we stacked a few days ago (We were roughly at the same skill) and didn't have any problems with finding a match. We were searching for lots of maps though

I also can not complain: oftentimes i'm searching for only one map, and even then it never takes more than 2min.

if your internet gets bad ping to volvo servers and your max acceptable ping is set to default (50ms), it may take longer to find a match.

Playing competitive on Cache. Our team doesn't get the best of start and as a result one person on the team decides to greif us as soon as he got like one or two bad rounds. We lost unfortunately.

Then quickly hops into casual and manages to get 6 kills in a single round on Assault.

I think I need some help with improving on CS:GO. I was wondering if there were any people out there I could play with in North America. I'm currently Gold Star 3. Usually around 2-3 stars. Only maps I really know are Dust2 and Nuke. Working on learning Inferno and wouldn't mind learning Cache/Train.

Biggest weaknesses right now would probably be my ability to stay alive during pushes and playing positions as long as possible (before dying or falling back to another position).

Anyway yeah if anyone is willing to take a newb under their wing feel free to PM me.

I've just played two games in a row where my score was 45-10-16. Holy crap, the feeling of being a your peak with an Awp is so amazing. Turning around and quickscoping someone based on the gentlest footstep you didn't think you noticed, having an intuition based on their split and mowing 3 down as they run through tunnels, it's just amazing.

The AWP can shoot through people I think. It can also penetrate through walls. I was able to get a kill through this wall on Inferno a couple of days back

Best feel is when you're on top of your game, all the bullets in your spray go exactly where you want it to go, and you get headshots everywhere o/
