It's rather "your displayed rank should stabilise around what it should be with the new intervals". Thus, taking a break from CS won't change anything to your updated rank. I still see so many people be like "Hey, I'll take a break, wait for it to stabilise, and come back". Well, you'll most likely lose ranks anyway, unless you were low silver... | ||

I tried a few times with almost no success. I know I am noob but I don't see any advantage over deagle in my low amount of tries. Trigger delay makes it impossible for me to use it efficiently. Any advices? | ||

Ever thought they are waiting for the people that where wrongfully at their rank to disappear since winning/losing gets highly influenced by who you are playing with? For example, my main is global and still rocking. My smurf just recently got his rank and got deranked to DMG so far after some of the most wonky games I have had in a long time with LE+. Could be a lot of bad luck, but I will wait with my smurf until either my mates are playing again or until I feel like the changes to DMG and upwards cleaned out most of the people that don’t belong there. EDIT: Plus the amount of cheaters in higher ranks has definitely increased or there are simply less legit players left. Another ban wave would be a nice thing. | ||

The MMR wasn't affected. You kept it. Only the displayed rank was. You play against the same people as before. The algorithm hasn't changed. If your main is still global and rocking that means that you were already above the limit after the shift. The people that were wrongfully at their rank is pretty much "everyone". Well in the new system. In the old one, they were at the correct rank. | ||

Yeah while thinking about I figured that I misunderstood. MM should have been clear to me after my smurf found himself in lots of double-AK stacks after I got my rank with him (LE, shortly after LEM). Ranks are just a indicator of where you are in the curve and you seem to only derank when you lose/draw despite your hidden MMR. Propably shouldn't have taken my smurf with <25 games as an idicator lol. | ||
