Because split arrow is so cheap and he runs no expensive supports, he can do no-regen maps with that very easily. He actually managed to run GMP/Chain/LA with the same ring though he needed clarity as well since there aren't always big packs of mobs  However, a blood magic build would probably be easier and tankier (since you could actually use your ring slots lol). If you don't link chain, then a quality projectile weakness gives you like 70% chance to pierce (plus the damage part of the curse works with any projectile) so thats a very worthwhile investment. Piercing isn't chaining (not even close) but it's better than nothing by a large margin. If you do end up using EK, don't forget to run hatred as thats not only a huge damage boost, but it also allows you to put the hurt onto phys resist mobs as well as critting a lot of the time for nice freezes (assuming you have enough crit to make CoC work). | ||

Even though without GMP it's a bit worse. Still it profits from the huge projectile range as well. Just wondering since my Nemesis char is actually going to be the char you described, though it's probably gonna fail. We'll see! Currently leveling with Spectral Throw is as it works fine with Projectile Damage nodes and good IPD 2h weapons are easy to find/craft. Also wow, did not know Thief's Torment but it looks great. Wonder if it is expensive. | ||

. I'd like to point out that my friend was CRUSHING 74 maps at level 76 so long as he had a retard in front of him to tank. He was literally obliterating everything (admittedly with the help of a dedicated aura-stacker with haste/hatred but still) much much faster than the 85+ characters in the party with him. Obviously any nemesis build would be a lot deeper into defense and have much less DPS a that stage but the build is definitely legit. Also single target will remain an issue kinda no matter what you do for this build unless you can get a crazy DPS bow to weapon swap or whatever. *Shrug* nothing is perfect. EDIT: Thiefs torment was like 1-1.5 ex I think but that could change a lot for nem. Needing crit on a lot of your gear plus only wearing one ring makes your character fairly squishy in the grand scheme of things  | ||

For one thing, cast on crit is like 40% chance to proc for wayyyyy too long, you need it to be at least level 10 before its useable. I mean, you can always put the Cast on Crit in your quill rain and weapon swap depending on the zone for a while (around the start of Merci I'd guess) until you feel like the bow version is better. Merciless ledge is a great zone to get the hang of the CoC version of the build relatively safely etc. Just... phys reflect man you gotta be so careful. PS: The CoC build benefits probably the best of any I've ever seen when combined with an aura-stacker though since Wrath guarantees shock stacks on the enemy before they get EK'd (no need for static blows since you are only EK'ing them after critting them!), hatred is like a HUGE dmg increase plus the cold crit is nice defense, and the rest are just as nice as always (haste, etc). | ||

Yeah PW felt more "stable" since you hit more mobs with split arrow and your EK just did more damage without relying on the EK critting as well. However, CW probably is a lot better if you don't have as many crit nodes just to get that baseline of crits going. PS My friend runs PCoC in his main attack for convenience (ah the luxuries of tabula rasa and sofcore) but since I assume you wont you may wish to consider some method of acquiring said charges. They are very helpful ^_^. | ||

No Max life, No real res, no stats. Nothing for me ^^ Currently I'm running Malachi Stimula and I feel pretty okay with it. If I somehow end up with a decent Eva/ES chest I might try the mana route with EB. But EK is much much easier on your computer. If you use LA then it can slow you down a bit but with just split arrow you really don't notice any lag at all. | ||

meh no, i was too lazy to buy me a flask that removes bleed and just used tps when I ran into a corrupted blood mob... I was kinda tired when I played so didn't react in time when I ran into one,I also had a huge cluster fuck in my inventory and for some reason moved the tp scroll from where I normally always keep it.Was scrambling like a idiot to find it among the chaos,but it was too late lol | ||
