I vaguely recall something along those lines as well-- its just that my drops on regular old softcore have been absolute crap. I did a couple maps today and got a grand total of one rare (well, it turned out to be a nice tri-resist + hp body, but still). | ||

Its not all too much item depended (just get a high phys 2H and you're good to go). You can go the scion route, but you can just as well start as a ranger or something else. As for HC, its definitely one of the most used HC-builds right now - and since the lower side of the skill-tree offers lots of %HP-nodes (especially the new node near the scion start is perfect for HC chars), you're at least good to go when if comes to life. It's kinda like EK tank builds in some ways. I personally have been doing a trapper in nemesis and it's working out pretty well. pretty much everything comes from quests and you've got a lot of room for expansion if you get rich or lucky with items like Deerstalker and Sunblast. I've been doing a fusing of the most recent Build of the Week fire trapper and the elemental trapper that utilizes EE that's on the forums. You do a lot of damage and are pretty hard to kill. | ||

speed aura + vuln on hit + fragility on hit carrion spawner. Totally unprepared. welp. there go the pair of unique boots I had just found and spent a fair amount of my currency making better. I was probably underlevelled for that area anyhow. | ||
