Anyway, enjoying coming back and playing for a bit while I await the 1.5 Fallen Enchantress patch to fix the crashes in that game. Really like how PoE has turned out, and can notice many improvements overall/lots of changes since I played last. Nice game to come back to once in a while when I'm in the mood for an arpg.

I think the cast on damage taken nerf is fine, it doesn't make the gem any worse at high levels (well I suppose it does in a way, but I'm not sure how much worse it would be mathematically), but makes leveling with CoDT a bit more difficult. Even as someone who criticses GGG's balance decisions alot usually, I can't really complain about this patch at all. | ||

EDIT: Well, maybe not NEEDS, but it certainly helped me a lot. Also, I kind of expected a nerf like this but I don't like it. CoDT was just a nice gem for the lazy, too nice tbh. | ||

in an average setup you can very, very easily do that. I was planning on having 2 codt setups before nerfs were announced, and I already had whirling blades / lightning warp / iir+culling+double strike on second thought it's probably shit unless you have armor passive nodes. maybe summon skeletons would be ok for aggro? | ||
