Looking at your weapon, it has 343.5 dps without quality. With quality idk exactly, but i'd assume like 360-380. Pure physical is very nice too, and crit is good as well since staffs are best 2h for crit. But after checking shops myself I realized that Nemesis shops rarely ever have prices for the stuff in it.

Hell, most of the entries for monsters are tiny, if they exist at all.

Yeah, I figure that's probably the best option. I'll at least try to focus my energies more on the bestiary and related issues first. Trying to figure out how to determine either armor/resists or health without knowing the other. It's hard. Maybe stun duration? That'd be hard to time though. GGG have done a good job at making their game hard to crack. I wonder if I could just extract game files? I know a guy who used to do that extensively for Maplestory, I'll give him a shout.

Most of those were in the patch preview I think (discipline effect, item skin swap). Huh. Gonna have to try harder then. Okay, it's actually quite astonishing how much effort they put in to making Sarn look right. Holy shit. Also there's a bunch of map stuff that mention a Mountain Aqueduct that looks really really nice. It has a town and everything. I guess this question goes out to the beta players: was this sort of area ever in the game and just removed? Or is it a harbinger of things to come? Might be reused later even if it was already used but it being unused and mysteriously present makes me kinda excited. Actually, there's a RuinedTempleForest section as well, which I don't recognize. Bahahahaha, I think GGG might be trolling with this bit. In the textures, there's totally an Act4 subfolder. Also it's super interesting to learn what GGG initially named certain units and to look at the textures of unreleased units and wonder "what the hell were they thinking"? For instance, the miscreations used to be called Demons. Lady Dialla used to be Ghoul Queen. The Blackguard soldiers used to be Axis soldiers. There's also a unused pair of reptiles: frog and iguana. The frog is partly under Frog and partly under GemMonster, the iguana is entirely under GemMonster. I also suspect that the entire Vaal system used to be known as IncaPyramid, as I don't see those and I also have the entities IncaShadowMonster, inca minion, and inca monster_poison. Anyhow I've gotten completely distracted and won't get a damn bit of work done on what I intended to do (at least not tonight) but I'm gonna try and get the .smd files to work for me and give me the complete models. Wow, the wiki really is out of date then. ![]() at least I found some stuff now that isn't released, hah. Oh, and I found the real name for the birdmen. They're Kiweth. Well, rather, Kiweth is the name that the artist gave to the entity. It was proper name, not a species name but it's as close as we'll get. The artist was Max Schulz, who created it for Dominance War V back in 2011, in the GameArtisan chapter. He did some work for GGG in 2012 and I guess his Kiweth design got into the game somehow. His work that I can find for GGG was concept art for the Sarn encampment, Sarn as a whole, concept art for Lunaris 3, Wraeclast as a whole, the entire UI, a lot of the Keystone icons, and a lot of (yet unused) item icons, plus a fair bit more. Alright, I think this is the biggest question: Why the hell is GGG using a file type for their models that is basically only used for Half-Life? Really pisses me off.

FishingRods is a drop pool category. Unfortunately it's currently set to not drop from anything. Alright, I'm back to doing what I meant to do. I think I've figured out what the first several columns of the MonsterTypes.dat mean. Index0 corresponds to the offset value of the monster's ID. Unknown0, Unknown1, Unknown2, and Unknown3 correspond to Fire, Cold, Lightning, and Chaos resistances, respectively. Unknown4 is baffling to me but is only anything besides 100 in two cases: 120 for the Dexintbanditboss who is Kraityn and 500 for TestSpawn. I'll ignore it since I have no idea what it is. Side note, has anyone seen anything in game (or otherwise) about any monsters named: Fetid Maw Plumed Chimeral Paradisae Venenum Sallazzang Croaking Chimeral Cursed Spawn Fathom Screamer Flesh Eater Pope Chosen of God Alright, back to working. There's a file called MonsterScalingByLevel.dat which at least partially confirms my theory about the nature of monsters, even though I can't access anything inside of it. Flag0 signifies whether it's friendly or not. That's pretty much all I've got worked out yet. It's a start, though. With some time and effort I can potentially figure out some health values. It'll take a long long time though.
