The chaos recipe got changed to require high item level items (60-74) so it is no longer worthwhile. Picking up two rings, an ammy, and a belt that isn't worth a chaos orb is pretty hard, especially this early in the league. You get chance orbs now for the low item level stuff.
I am talking about the double chaos recipe in this post.

I suspect this is what you're getting at with the bolded section, but especially in the non-HC leagues, over time won't lower-quality ilvl 60+ items become less valuable, since the quality of items over time tends to increase when there's no HC death removing them from the economy? If that's the case, eventually it may be more likely that you'll be able to collect a whole set of unsellable 60+ items, and at that point getting a chaos for the lot will seem like a good deal.
Having never really played before the release, this is just theory rather than any experience speaking. Does it seem to hold true as leagues age?

It is worth holding onto a set just because you're going to get a bunch of crappy rolled rares eventually to complete a chaos orb. The real issue is leaving them unid for the double chaos. You used to be able to pick up a bunch of chaos just running through normal because any ilvl gear would work and the junk you find in normal isn't actually worth a lot so you could leave it unid and not care for double chaos.
This early in the league that mediocre ring you ID could easily be worth 10 chaos so you can't justify not IDing things. I don't think it'll ever be worthwhile to go for double chaos in the new leagues.

It is easiest to message an officer, but if you leave your character name I will go through an invite everyone this evening.
@rEvolutionTu is online now apparently Evo's name is broken ^_^

Yeah, if any ilvl items could be used, getting double chaos for all the garbage rares you find leveling alts would be fantastic. It's probably a good change, though, since such easy access to currency might be a little unhealthy for prices.

Is it better to play nemesis or standard Hardcore for not very experienced player? I am a bit scared that i level to lets say 70-80 and then i die stupidly to some crazy mode nemesis monster without knowing it is coming. I fairly like standard hardcore so far, but i haven't gotten to end game stuff yet. I also died stupidly to Dominus with my lvl 59 char. I was sure i logged off in time, but still the character appeared in softcore.

Domination, Endothermian. I'd love it if someone would add me. Also I picked up my melee splash and life on hit gems yesterday and found a good chest that's RRG 3link for splash+life on hit+dual strike... holy shit. I have to try to die at this point I think. On a side note I use up so much fucking mana, holy shit. I still have my starting int. Good thing I kill things fast enough that I refill my flasks constantly. I've gone mainly dexterity over str but I don't see a huge problem with that right now, especially since I've gone with Iron Reflexes so I'm pretty difficult to kill. I'll really have to invest into some health equipment soon because I'm just getting reducing returns on my armor.

The more dex you have the worse Iron reflexes is

Which names don't work so I can fix them? It would be smarter to give you a character name of theirs instead of their account name I guess even though both should work.

Not sure if you still receive messages on a different character if sent to one that's offline at the moment.

Sending messages to a character name that is offline but online on another works.

You do; it just gets confusing when some other name replies to you. I'm guessing some accounts work if you have a character named the same thing as your account.

This game is fun, i'm probably making the worst character ever but I wouldn't be as fun if i just followed a prebuildt guide

wait, shit. Seriously? I thought the dex gained EVA would go armor. I think I'm trying to treat it too much like dota, I keep thinking that dex gives armor and IAS and damage instead of acc and eva.

It doesn't because the iron reflexes keystone says "Dexterity provides no bonus to evasion rating." Prior to the 1.0.0 patch it did not work like this.
and dota would be terrible if units had accuracy.
