Dominus somehow spawned lots and lots of totems (like 6-8?) around of me and I basically died instantly with 1500 HP and 75% Lightning Res QQ... the second stage of him was facetanking though. I heard Kripp almost died there, too, so I don't feel that bad and I had no idea what to expect! Also: Shrines are pretty fun, I so far had rarely a problem tapping them. When it seems dangerous a Decoy Totem clears the way. The effects are hilariously strong, albeit only for 30 seconds! Anyway, managed to kill Brutus Cruel and now lvl 40. Gonna get some sleep now, doesn't matter if I play on tomorrow or now! edit: And so far Leap Slam / Ground Slam Mace Marauder seems stronger than ever, I'm not so worried about just being able to run Determination + maybe just one more. | ||

You can get up to 75% block chance, which means that 75% of attacks will just not hit you. The extra stats and mods you get are good as well-- for example, you could get a nice hp + tri resist shield with +100% armor/evasion which would make you significantly tankier. There are a ton of passives that deal with shield as well. | ||

It took a while at 440dps heavy strike and 150dps leap slam (only had them linked with added fire, ran no auras since casting 15 mana skills from an 80 mana pool with 0 regen is annoying, didn't really matter anyway) but I wasn't really in much danger, just at the start since I didn't know what to expect from the fight. The passive tree buffs are insane by the way. 300% life spec with 7% regen and 150% armor at 100 points? Yes sir! Don't give a damn about losing a little dps from auras if survivability can be this good with plenty of points to spare,and if you wanna shoot for ~220% life and less regen, you can start speccing dps from lvl60 onwards easily. | ||
