If your bow has a higher base attack speed you're going to end up with more damage per second even though you're sacrificing some damage (although technically you don't have to because attack speed is a suffix while all the damage rolls are prefixes; in terms of cost this works out though). Essentially you get gains from the additional attack speed which get further gains from all the attack speed from your gear/passives. These in turn propagate towards other gains like Wrath/Anger/elemental damage mods on armor which ends up being a much higher increase than merely having a damage mod on your bow. I went through every single bow in the entire forum and couldn't find a better deal :D At least not for that damage. I tried looking for the same amount of damage, but higher atk speed and the prices just went way way up... Well part of your problem is looking for the same damage. A good attack speed roll should give you much more damage output than a damage roll. Prices went up because having another damage stat is better ^_^ A proper comparison would be sacrificing one of the damage rolls to pick up attack speed. You'll probably still pay more because attack speed is that good, but you're also ending up with a better bow. | ||

Also, 4 chaos or so got me to this bow which is admittedly not spectacular, but not sure if I want to dump a bunch of chaos if it's only ilvl 57. Attack speed is probably better (LMP), but quality gems are generally far more expensive than gear until you're dropping 10+GCP per piece. An upgrade to that bow will cost you several exalted (at least 30 GCP) so I'd say dropping a Divine on it is worthwhile. It really depends on what sort of other gear you have though. Can you upgrade other pieces for less than 3GCP? If yes, then you should probably hold off on using a Divine on it, but eventually it will be worthwhile. Be careful with the physical damage though. It rolled accuracy so it may have the double mod Physical%+ACC or just the ACC suffix. It is hard to say for sure when you have many possible mods. If you can sell it to the vendor for an augmentation then you know you have six mods already and there is some bad combos, but you should have five. | ||

okay so I have a new build im doing a Ele Cleave marauder. I spent the past 2hours going over it so i'd appreciate any help to fine tune it.
