You're probably a 2h marauder or something, that's what I played before I died, and this bow looks bad because of that. Chain makes it a lot better than it looks however. I looked for AGES before I bought this one. One better stat or more phys dmg, and the cost of the bow could jump up to like 8 exalted... :/ It's probably because LA bow builds are so popular too. Some experienced LA / bow player give some input please ^^ | ||

Well since currency did inflate quite a bit in the last weeks 2exalts are not that much for a bow of that kind. Its not a super steal, but its also not a rip of. Make it a 5link and you can get 5+ exalts easy. | ||

Here's what I've been doing so far Lightning strike is a bit of a let down I think. Damage is good, especially with the only support I have (weapon elemental damage boost), but it doesn't hit sh*t, so I find myself using mostly sweep, leap slam and glacial hammer. Molten shell and rejuvenation totem for survivability. I hope lightning strike gets better with something like piercing projectile or added projectiles. Else I'll probably throw away all the lightning stuff. It's very fun to play, even though I feel more like a marauder. The lack of DEX hasn't been an issue so far, 85% chance to hit and there's no active skill gems that I miss from that attribute. It will be if I insist on making lightning strike work with multiple projectile or pierce, but the more I progress, the more I feel I won't do that. Next step I guess is better AoE, as most of my skill does that... | ||

Some experienced LA / bow player give some input please ^^ I think you overpaid a bit but I havent tried to buy a bow for a while. The phys roll is pretty much useless, you would rather have fire damage. From there a better bow would have attack speed and that is about it. This is assuming you are stacking +% ele damage, you will want to get ele damage not physical. | ||

14 GCP for a thicket without attack speed is pretty ridiculous. You could have gotten a much better bow for that easily if you valued attack speed over damage like you should. | ||
