It makes sense from a business POV, but it's antithetical to the old image of GGG. Classic GGG philosophy wouldn't engage with stuff like this. Ofc, this advantage is not the difference maker between us and the streamers - they play way more and are more skilled. But it is undeniably unfair, and the blatant and brazen nature of it is very jarring. | ||

Yeah, no, not a fan. Not to mention the basic thought of "if we give some people an ingame advantage and us an economic one because exposure that's great let's do it" is a pretty questionable starting place. | ||

Hint: If your whole friend list goes offline before you, the next zone entrance will disconnect you and you'll probably rollback some. So makes no sense to continue playing the zone you're in, unless you can grab a wp, then you can pray it stays. | ||

Edit: Ziz (who's been waiting in queue, not bypassing) just got to Oriath finally and had 7 hours /played on the character even though it was created 11.5 hours ago. Probably a good metric for what the overall uptime has been like for anyone that's been on the entire time and persistently trying to get in. I think he's been streaming since launch, but might have taken some breaks given the issues. | ||

Do not try to play unless you are fine with basically no progress being saved at all. It has gone from being able to load like 3-4 zones 4 hours ago to discing after each zone that takes 2 minutes. | ||
