They had 4 fouls 5 yellows at one stage :O I think I remember one instance where they maybe didn't deserve to be booked (Charlie Adam's first yellow was a bit soft)...yes the ref was liberal with the cards but if you look again at all his decisions they were technically correct*. Liverpool were fouling all over the place for about 20 minutes. (*Fuck it, the only yellow Spurs got didn't look like a foul to me.) | ||

edit2: Spurs 10 fouls to liverpools... 9 edit: in the end as soon as they got the second red its all damage control so the scoreline doesn't mean much. Hard to do anything with 9 men | ||

EDIT; Basic point though is that no decision was particularly contentious. There were a couple that could have gone either way, but that's the point. Could have gone either way, so no one can complain when it doesn't go Liverpool's way. | ||
