Blame the AS Roma management for not signing him

Facepalm, Im sorry but thats really stupid logic, just because it so happens that he dives it means hed do it all the time if they werent so good? People dive all the time you stick your leg out ppl try to milk it, the defender did well to stay on his feet and the ref made a good call end of discussion. Integrity is important sure but harping on every little thing someone does if its dishonest just because its someone with a reputation for not doing it seems a bit tasteless. He doesnt really claim to be a Saint does he and only naive people really believe that to.

He doesnt really claim to be a Saint does he and only naive people really believe that to. many people do regard messi as a saint.. that'd be evident to you if you read any forum not affiliated with a non-barcelona football club. this very thread has ample evidence.. I'm saying he's not a saint and that he's the same as other players, but that he's rarely in a situation where cheating is useful because they usually win anyway. most players who cheat dislike cheating, they just like winning more than they dislike cheating. messi is like that.

No one says he's a saint, but he do gets kick a lot and stands up most of the times. That incident cannot be generalized to his personality throughout the past 7 years. Btw watch Argentina he gets kicked equally or more and they definately don't win like Barca.
