Wenger needs to buy some quality quickly. At this rate a mid-table finish will be lucky. I hope against hope that this is the equivalent of Liverpool a few seasons ago - abysmal and failing hard, so they buck up and buy some exciting players and turn it around. Thing is, will Wenger last long enough to do that or will it be under a new manager?

The only reason there is a 20 point gap between the first 2 in La Liga and the rest is because La Liga currently has the best team in history in the form of Barcelona and the 3rd best Madrid squad ever....English teams are just bad..

England do terrible in europe outside Manchester United of lately, Spain is constantly winning UCL, and Europa League and always finishing high. Premierleague players are also terrible in International Football.......

Arsenal and Tottenham will finish 5th and 6th at best this season. (right now it feels like Arsenal won't even finish that high, but I assume they'll turn things around by midseason) United/City/Liverpool/Chelsea are looking like the top 4 right now. Last season, Sevilla and Athletico Bilbao finished #5/6 in La Liga. Barca vs Sevilla: 5-0, 1-1 RM vs Sevilla: 1-0, 6-2 Barca vs Bilbao: 2-1, 3-1 RM vs Bilbao: 5-1. 3-0 While Barca and Madrid are better than United and City, I'd also take Chelsea and Liverpool over La Liga's #3/4 (someone like Valencia/Villareal). Besides that the Manchester teams look better than #1/2 from any league besides La Liga.
