I can link you many a statement and information showing we will hit the FFP rules and regulations quite easily. Man City the only team who will be losing out from England, maybe Man Utd too as they have huge debt but there turnover matches it or something reason will never be in trouble.
Oh and on the note of Besiktas, they got kicked out due to match fixing too? There coach in 2011 has just be found guility of match fixing as well.
No they got kicked out for big debts and not being able to pay salaries.
It's a disgrace really if teams which run at a loss every year will be able to play in Europe with the new rules. That wouldn't really change anything. And man U doesn't have the turnover to match their debt their debt exceeds their turnover which is pretty unhealthy for any company.

A little harsh, but that's what happens when you raise your arm in the box, even if it's to protect your face.

It's on ESPN3.com, I dunno if that's available on all countries though

Well the second call was wrong.
edit: Okay no penalty, but still.

Wow, that goal. Feel bad for the keeper who looked so confused to see it go into that corner lol.

yeah there was nothing he could do before it was too late.
Soldado in from valencia, great scorer!

That shouldn't have been a free kick. It ricocheted off his balls into his hand rofl.

despite the goals, The south korean keeper is doing very well for his first cap.

Brendan Rodgers seem all but set to coach Liverpool next season as Pool's owners have agreed to a compensation package with Swansea, and Rodgers has the desire to take the job.
Also, Sweden is currently playing a friendly against Iceland, and are in the lead by 2-1. Ibrahimović and Toivonen has scored for Sweden, and Sigthorson(spelling? D: ) for Iceland.

who is brendan rodgers lol, didnt they learn from roy hodgson success with smaller clubs doesnt necessarily translate to a bigger stage, unless liverpool actually think theyre a mid table side now.

Brendan Rodgers coached Swansea.
3-1 to Sweden now, with Wilhelmsson smashing it in after receiving a sweet long pass. Bah, 3-2 after some abysmal defending on the last chance of the match. Oh well, a win is a win.

Rodgers is probably one of the best coaches in the prem. For Swansea to play beautiful football like Barcelona in the prem is hard to do. He achieved it this year pretty well. Now to be given more money and better players to work with. Liverpool are very lucky to have this guy. Hodgson was doing well for liverpool, but they wanted fast results and after one season they sacked him. You know the rest of the story with queen kenny. For a team like liverpool to succeed it needs time to grow and become a dominate force in the prem again.

Swansea don't play like Barcelona.

They do have a similar ethos, a lot of possession and quite an attacking game, it worked for them. You can't fault Rodgers for putting the work in with Swansea but I wonder if he is able to coach a different style of team. It is definitely a step up for him though he has inherited a far from complete Liverpool side.

I would like to have seen him for a few more seasons before I said anything like this. Granted he had a great single season in the premiership and he got Swansea to play on their terms - didn't matter who they faced they played the way they wanted and got some great results doing so. He's a great young manager. So was AVB at Chelsea.
I'll be interested to see how he does at Liverpool, another team I get the feeling the players have a bit too much power like at Chelsea. if they don't like Rodgers or how he does things, they won't perform. Simple as. That said if the man can get Downing to do anything at all he'll be a genius...

I had front row seats to USA vs Brazil friendly tonight, we ended up sitting close enough to the ESPN box to talk to Keller during the game. (he thought the penalty was bullshit lol) Donovan vs Marcelo was happening right in front of us for the first half. Scoreline was a bit harsh but man Brazil is amazing to watch up close and they were threatening all night. Their keeper made some great saves in the second half as well.

It wasnt a penalty, the referee called it because leandro damiao screamed at him the commentator here in brazil even said that the usa dude(cant remember his name) was didnt have the intention of blocking the ball with his arm since he was pulling it close to his body when the ball hit him
