Uhh maybe you didnt get the RIP reference. Maybe you were going through the doctored financial records edit:
+ Show Spoiler +No they arent doctored that was a joke. but nor do they suggest that Chelsea hasnt been spending big and beyond what they are capable of, sure they are no United in terms of mismanagement but and are on course to be fine but they are still writing of debts to, and have been spending more than they earn. Ofcourse if you inject a ton of Money into a club will be higher value. its the difference between playing poker with 1000 quid or a 100. Increaing fan base in the larger scheme of things doesnt turn in the money this quickly, its alot more longterm. Then again theyve had a decade so now its coming to fruition somewhat.
So Roman bought a cheaper club than the Glazers who had to use debt to complete the takeover. The fact that your still in debt and reporting losses (with increased revenue) makes it in some ways worse even if it is on the course to recovery, since Roman didnt really borrow any money to buy Chelsea. So its all been money spent at the club, whatever the capacity may have been. Chelsea is no less Romans plaything than City is The Shiekh's atleast the Shiekh lets them do what they want and hasnt made it a revolving door for managers .
I dont see why you would call the media biased. They seem to be reporting numbers accurately. Or are you suggesting the media loves Arsenal and Everton and hates United, City and Chelsea because. ?
None absolutely none of the top 10 clubs in that list are in healthy positions as of now with the exception of Arsenal not even close.
The joke was in poor taste but in a cheap way it was kinda funny. [/spoiler]They asked Fergie a couple years back if after all that money coming in (shortly after Tevez got sold) if United would ever be the underdog to city.
His response was, "not in my lifetime."
That was the joke. He got carried away but its not the worst thing hes done. Still a cunt but no not the worst thing.

That explanation is bit of a leap and I'm surprised so many people would remember such a minor thing, especially Tevez after that. I think he just made a twat move but it lined up nicely with a defensive story but thats just my opinion.
You act as if the Sheikhs are better than Roman, let us not forget Mouriniho was in charge for a good time and everything looked fine and wonderful and then they had an argument and nobody has been able to live up to the legend he's left (Matteo somewhat along with Hiddink but they're not long term as much as I'd like them to be). Wait until Mancini either leaves / fucks up / puts a foot wrong, I highly doubt the Sheikhs will be more understanding than Roman when they're pumping in way more money and not getting results.

Well that may well be true, but its speculative, everything is rosy right now, and theyve been more patient as it is.
Took them 4 years already and 2+ under Mancini and only Hughes got the unceremonial sack, and lets be honest Hughes is worse than Ranieri.
It doesnt matter what the reasons are for the managerial revolving door. Its there, and whether you like or not, its never going to be a good thing. We know Roman likes buying toys and throwing them away. Whether the Shiekhs are better or worse is irrelevant.
. All the big clubs are doing it. Barca are pretty big offenders more so than Chelsea probably and Real, well I dont even know. United is there for all to see, Milan have Berlusconi fucking it up aswell Juve still paying off fines and austerity from Calcio. They just used theyre money poorly.
Again all you people seem to do is say "Yes we started it, but they are doing it more than us and thats bad. Oh and we make it look good coz we iz making the mad bucks." The latter of which isnt really even true yet.
Its a poor justification for not allowing other teams to do the same thing. They seem to be investing in the club and making the brand grow aswell, we know it will take years. Its just bitter harping at this point. You might not like it. I dont but thats the culture your own clubs have helped foster. Pretty sad to start bitching about it now whoever may be guilty of it. Thats hypocritical, but then again football fans tend to be the worst offendors with short and subjective memories.
As for the joke referance. It may well be a leap but it makes the most sense, considering its being reported the Image was handed to him. He may not have got the joke but the City faithful remember these things. Oh boy do they remember them. They know everthing that comes out of his mouth regarding City.
Just so were clear, Carlos Tevez has the reading and writing ability of a 5 year old. What you choose to believe is upto you but I think it makes alot of sense with respect to the events that proceeded.

Puts a food wrong? Fucks up? Mancini should of walked the league last season (this season argh its to early to call it last season right?) but he managed to let slip there huge they had and let man utd lead by a considerale amount for some time as well! He is a shocking manager imo, cant handle the big stars in his dressing for some reason, Ballotelli running riot doing what he wants and Tevez spending 6 months off in Argentina to then come back into the team and help "win" the prem title? lol clubs a mess and he has made numerous mistakes through out, funniest one was not even knowing that Wayne Bridge was training every day and around the team on match days, he thought he was playing golf ffs >.< Lots of managers could of won the league with that man city squad alot easier too imo. For example, if Mourinho was in charge they would of walked it with all the records like he did with the first season at Chelsea. Sheikhs have come out and stood by Mancini all the time and i don't even know why personally, guess its the way they are as people.

The Mourinho bit is a bit speculative, but your just reinforcing my point that Shiekhs seem to be more patient that Roman already. Let alone what occurs in the future.
I am not touting Mancini's managerial prowerss. That would be Drazil. I think Mancini is a terrible manager and with the exception of lazio has had the fortune of being in the right place at the right time.
His ability to use money effectively is the most woeful in years. His entire game plan at Inter was "defend and chuck the ball to Ibra and wait for him to win you the game." While holding of competition from areally really bad league. Its much better now.
I will point out though that, no one can handle Tevez, Fergie couldnt so he got rid of em, and Mourinho failed with Balotelli, and for the most part Mancini has managed to squeeze a title winning team out of their efforts. Whatever other failings he might have.

Mancini bought both of the players though in the discussion? I think Ballotelli is an excellent footballer but needs a good smack and a shake up to fulfill his potential and Tevez just seems to show off majorly when he doesn't get his own way as well, madness! Both excellent footballers. Yes i agree that the Sheikhs seem to have more leeway on what he lets happen and the goings on of the footballing side, is that a good or bad thing? Pros and cons for both sides of course.

They would've burned down the Esprit Arena... :D

That was unworthy for a soccer match. Hertha should voice a complaint and try to nullify this game at the sportscourt. Severe punishment should be executed for such a behavior!

The coolest guy was the one who cut out the penalty spot and took it with him, while there was still 2 minutes to play ^^

Calm down guys. It was extremly funny and extremly stupid as well, BUT it was obv. that they misunderstood the whistle as the final whistle, and when 1 guy is starting everyone does. It's like a domino effect, they didn't wanted to crash the game. when the news spread that te game isn't finished they cleared the field pretty fast. I don't know why they could move that close to the field vefore the game finsihed but that was a BIG security fault. For the guy stealing the penalty spot, that's super common to do after a championship season, too bad the game wasn't finished but I am sure he didn't know at that point.
